5. A Water Emergency is
hereby in effect. Per Village
law, it is hereby unlawful to
engage in any unnecessary
uses of water, including but
not limited to, washing
vehicles, washing driveways
and sidewalks, watering lawns
or gardens, and filling of
swimming pools. A guilty of
the violation, punishable of
fine not to exceed $250 and/
or a sentence of imprisonment
for a term of not to exceed 15
days.

Moments 1. Citizen
Concerns a.
Representative from
the Oxbow Fire Dept.
addressed the board about
sharing the cost of a grant
that will be applied for to
help with the costs of
installing four more dry
hydrants. The grant will be
for $2000.00.There will be
two hydrants installed in
Antwerp district and two
installed in Oxbow. The
Town agreed to share
costs for the grant. B.
Russ Finley political
candidate from Lisbon N.Y.
running for the position of
Assemblyman for 116th
Assembly District
introduced himself and
spoke briefly about his
intentions and interests for
the district if he is elected
in November.
2. Correspondence: a. :
Town Justice Report of the
monthly report copy was
given to each member to
review. B. Case and
Leader, A letter received
concerning the transfer of
the Hillside Cemetery to
the Town of Antwerp.
3. The new Cemetery:
They are still waiting for the
map to be returned so they
can start selling lots. Mr.
Shaw will check on this.

1.Citizen Concerns
a. Resident asked
about status of the
storm drain repair on
Mechanic St. It was
stated that the
County will assist in
replacing the drop
inlet. B. Resident
wanted to know when
the new law
regarding burning
would take effect.
Clerk Cole stated that
it takes effect upon
filing with the state.
2. DPW REPORT:
Waiting for well driller
to arrive. The cost of
drilling the new well
is quoted at $25,000
and the 24 hour
pump test, which is
required, will cost
$9000. This does not
include the cost of
wiring the new well.
The board is
reaching out to see if
there is any funding
