Course objectives:
Provide an overview of the petroleum industry value chain from exploration to marketing
Enable student to determine if they are interested in the petroleum industry and where
their skill set could be utilized
Defines geoscience tools used and geoscience vocabulary to allow meaningful
communication between geoscientists and operations personnel thru value chain
Allows operations personnel to understand how geoscientist can help them in their jobs
