Walking in Trials
Often we nd ourselves in the middle of di"cult
situations the Bible describes as trials. Our natural
depraved response is to attempt to avoid trials all
together. And if we are unsuccessful in avoiding trials
then we try to get through them as fast as we can. But
what if we slowed down and instead of focusing all of
our energy on trying to get through the trials we walked
in the trials with the biblical perspective? James calls us
to a biblical perspective in chapter one of his letter. Lets
check out James exhortation to his readers and see if
we need to change our approach to the trials God
graciously brings us into.

This summer we are nally painting the basement! We need
