"We want to thank Rifkie Muskat for planning and organizing the Ravinia outing on August 18th, and for baking for the event before leaving on a family vacation. Kudos to Rivkie Perman and committee for preparing the nutritious and delicious lavish buffet dinner which we enjoyed before the concert began, and for arranging the comfortable rented chairs in full view of the stage. And last, but not least, Yasher Koach to the wonderful volunteers who drove us to and from the concert. We really enjoyed the outdoor concert under the stars, featuring all Jewish selections by violin virtuoso, Itzhak Perlman, who has performed around the world for decades doing classical music, joining him for the evening was Chazan Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, who did a beautiful repertoire of Chassidic and Jewish melodies. We were all so inspired by the beautiful Tefillos, music, and voice. They were accompanied by the Chicago Philharmonic Klezmer Orchestra. So enjoyable was the musical performance that several of our women got up to dance, while the others clapped their hands and tapped their feet. We appreciate the efforts of the women of the Chicago Center for Torah & Chesed who made this a gala evening we will long remember."
Thank you so much to the wonderful drivers, Sarah Zimmerman, Marna Schreiber, Teila Lichtman, and Rochelle Perman for giving us a wonderful time!
