GRANDPARENTS DAY It Takes a Village
A program, "It Takes a Village", will highlight Grandparents Day at Franklin County School on
Thurs., Sept. 4, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Invited are all grandparents or "custodial grandparents" to a
reception in the media center and a chance to visit their grandchildren's educational environment.
The Reception for grandparents of PreK-5
th
grade students is from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and for grandparents of 6-12
th

graders from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
The Seahawk "Share Outs" in classroom visits will be for PreK-5
th
grade students from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and for
grandparents of 6
th
-12
th
graders from 8:30-9:30 a.m.


**STUDENT PARKING PERMITS: Mrs. Chipman will be on the stage in the cafeteria through Fri, Sept. 5, to take parking permit applications.

**ACTIVITY BUS: The Activity Bus will depart FCS at 6:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays. The Activity Bus is for students
being supervised by a school staff member for after school activities. Students who are on campus after school, & are not
being supervised by a staff member, should be sent to the front office so parents can be contacted.
**Transportation Department: The phone number for the School District Transportation Department is 653-6308.



BOX TOPS for EDUCATION: The Franklin County School PTO is collecting Box Tops!
Please send Box Tops to your child's teacher or drop them off in the front office to Joy Towns.
