OMC can connect to one device at a time if equipped as minimum requirements and in this case wireless
Modem is recommended to use.

In addition to the above requirements the following items and information is required to perform a
successful installation:

A valid SIM card for each GSM modem used is needed. The SIM card shall NOT have a pin-code
and the appropriate services should be enabled (such as SMS and/or Datacall).
The SMS Center number and the SIM card phone number should be available.
In case the size of the network requires additional modems to be used on the OMC server, an
Async multiple serial communication card should be installed. The recommended type is Moxa
C320xx series.
Windows XP should be setup to use USA Language and Regional settings. (incl. date and time
format)
In as Server-Client setup, one needs to know the IP address of the OMC server computer. From
the Client computer it should be possible to PING the OMC server computer. In some cases
firewall settings must be changed in order to achieve this.
