The tournament will consist of a Draft session followed by modified Double Elimination
tournament play.

Draft captains will be chosen after registration closes on September 10
th
. Captains are required to
attend the draft session on September 12
th
at 7 PM.
In the draft session, captains are ordered by Ranked Elo from lowest to highest. An individual's
rank is determined by:
1) Tier
2) Division
3) Current LP
4) Total number of ranked wins
An unranked player is considered Silver V 0 LP with 0 ranked wins.
Captains pick using the "snake draft" system. Every captain picks once in the designated order.
When one pick cycle is complete (every captain has picked the same number of times) the pick
order is reversed. For example, in a 2 captain 2 round draft, Captain 1 picks, Captain 2 picks,
Captain 2 picks, Captain 1 picks.
The pool of draftable players is decided as follows:
All players are initially in the draftable pool
The last player to register is removed until the number of players in the draftable pool is a
multiple of 5
The removed players are added to the Substitute Roster for the following day

The tournament will follow the standard Double Elimination bracket system. Every series before
the finals will be a "Best of One" match on Summoner's Rift in the Tournament Draft game
mode.
The finals will be a "Best of Three" series on Summoner's Rift, using the following conventions:
Games 1 and 2 will be Tournament Draft on Summoner's Rift
The finalist from the winner's bracket will be Blue side for games 1 and 3
If there are no pauses or technical issues in games 1 and 2, game 3 will be Blind Pick on
Summoner's Rift. Game 3 will otherwise be Tournament Draft.

It is the responsibility of captains and their teams to keep the tournament running smoothly.
Players must contact opposing teams and create the matches in a timely manner. Game results
must be reported to Tournament Administrators immediately so the bracket can be updated and
play can continue.

Initial matches will be posted by check-in on Saturday, September 13
th
. A Tournament
Administrator will provide a link to an online bracket that will be updated throughout the day.
**Please DO NOT contact tournament staff about match schedulingthe bracket will be
updated in a timely manner, and should accurately reflect the next round's match.
Before starting any match, contact a Tournament Administrator to get "Okayed". Your match
may be streamed; tournament officials need warning that you are ready to move into the Pick-
and-Ban phase.

It is the sole responsibility of the teams and captains to contact their opponents and create the
next game in a timely manner. As said above, remember to contact a Tournament Administrator
before starting your game.
At the end of a match, the team has 2 major responsibilities:
1) Screenshot the game result and post it on the Facebook Event page with the winning team
explicitly stated.
**NOTEonly the winning team is expected to do this
2) Verify with a Tournament Administrator that the screenshot was seen and that the bracket has
been updated. At this time the Tournament Administrator will randomly assign you Purple
or Blue side for your next match. Check the bracket and begin setting up your next match (or
wait for the appropriate teams to finish).
