Were gearing up for our 13th annual Team Afton Golf Event and Alumni Reunion at Afton Alps Golf
Course on Sunday September 21, 2014 and we are asking for your help.
This event is a major fund raising opportunity for Team Afton USSA. The money raised directly supports
the team in several areas throughout the season with equipment needs, coaching and other club
expenses.
Please consider sponsoring and /or participating in this event to support our team. Hole
sponsorships, silent auction items and door prizes are needed and very much appreciated.

Silent Auction and Door Prize Donations: We prefer that donated silent auction items have a value
of at least $25. We accept door prize donations of any value. Silent auction and door prize donors
are listed in the banquet program. Please mail or drop off silent auction and door prize donations
to Amy Reents, Afton Alps, 6600 Peller Ave. S, Hastings, MN 55033, or call Karin or Amy to arrange
for collection of your donated items.
Team Afton is a non-profit USSA junior downhill ski racing club for aspiring athletes between the ages of
6 and 19. Over the years, Team Afton has produced champions that went on to become members of the
US Ski Team, including Monte Meier Paralympic Gold Medalist and US Disabled Ski Team veteran, Jake
Lund, Tyler Shepherd, and Tague Thorson. Each year, Team Afton consistently qualifies racers to the
Junior Olympics at locations such as Vail, Winter Park, Aspen, and Steamboat.
