Duke Energys headquarters are in Charlotte, NC. As the name implies Duke Energy provides
electricity to approximately 104,000 square miles across the United States. They have over 7
million electric and gas customers in total. They are on the list of the 100 Best Corporate
Citizens which was put together by Corporate Responsibility Magazine. They have over $110
billion in assets and they are a Fortune 250 company. Due to how large the corporation is they
have many different needs which include Information Technology to help manage their network
to keeping customers information secure from hackers.
