FINAL FANTASY weapons guide

Thank you for clicking on this guide. This guide contains basically the
information you need to hunt for the FINAL FANTASY weapons in the game.
This guide does not contain any information on the story or gameplay, so
you may have to refer to other guides.

1. What is FINAL FANTASY weapons?
It is a set of weapons in the game that have names ending with alphabets.
When you arrange these weapons in decreasing order of their attack
strength, the letters form up the words "FINAL FANTASY". Do note that you
will need to give license to the character for whom you wish to give the
weapon(s) to, so take note of the licenses which your characters have.
In other words, you can't use all weapons in a single file since the
licenses are covered by 9 different jobs.

So, this guide will provide some information on the weapons, stats, added
effects, who can equip and most importantly how to get them.
?????F (Scorpion Tail F)
Hammers & Axes 8 (LP 175), Equipped by Breaker (?????)
Attack: 133 Evade: 5 Magic: - Vitality: - Speed: -
Element: - Added Effect: -
CT: 32 Chain: 20 Metal: 2 Trade: 70000 Sell: 13400
How to get:
Trade 3x charged gizzard (???), 3x wyrm bone (????),
4x scorpio gem (?????) at Bazaar
Charged gizzards are dropped by Thunderbug (??????) in Henne mines
(15% with knight monograph) or poached from the same monster
(5%).
Wyrm bones are dropped from skulwyrms (???????|) in Zertinan caverns
or Great Crystal upper layer (10% with knight monographs) or stolen
from the same monster (higher steal rate in Great Crystal).
Scorpio gems are dropped from various monsters.

Masamune (LP 200), Equipped by Samurai (????)
Attack: 117 Evade: 40 Magic: - Vitality: - Speed: -
Element: - Added Effect: -
CT: 31 Chain: 35 Metal: 2 Trade: 350000 Sell: 13850
Notes: Range (2), damage calculation same as katana class
How to get:
Trade 2x gemsteel (??), 3x orichalcum (?????),
2x mallet (????) at Bazaar
Gemsteels are dropped by the infamous LV99 red chocobo
(see video) (3 - 6%), traded in Bazaar. One is obtained as a reward
in Montblanc Clan after getting 8 espers.
Orichalcum is dropped by Deidar (????) in the lower floors of
Pharos Lighthouse (13% with scholar monograph) or poached from the
same monster (5%). It can also be stolen from the rare monster
Vishno (?????) in the same place (3 - 6%).
Mallets are dropped by Purobolos (??????) in the upper floors of
Pharos Lighthouse (5% with warmage monograph) or poached from the
same monster (5%).
They can be stolen from the rare monster Bombshell (????) in
Lhusu mines.

Element: - Added Effect: Don't Move (10%)
CT: 25 Chain: 35 Metal: 0 Trade: 60000 Sell: 13850
How to get:
Trade 3x Mythril (????), 3x Corpse fly (??),
4x aquarius gem (??????) at Bazaar
Mythril is dropped by mythril golem (????????) in Giruvegan
(10% with scholar monograph) or stolen from the same monster
(3 - 6%).
It is also stolen from a rare monster Molen (?????) in Zertinan Caverns
(3 - 6%). One is obtained upon completing the mob hunt
"Adding insult to injury".
Corpse fly is dropped by dragon lich (???????) in Pharos lighthouse
(12% with dragoon monograph) or stolen from the same monster (3 - 6%).
Aquarius gems are droppped by various monsters.
???????A (Sagittarius A)

How to get:
Trade 3x Beastlord horn (????), 4x moon ring (???),
4x Sagittarius gems (??????) at Bazaar
Beastlord horn are dropped by Humbaba (????) in Mosphoran
(8% with hunter monograph) or poached from the same monster
(5%).
Moon rings are dropped by ash wyrms (????????) found in the Great
Crystal
(10% with dragoon monograph). One is obtained after completing the
mob hunt "For whom the wyrm tolls".
Sagittarius gems are dropped by various monsters.
???L (Dragon Whisker L)
Dragon Whisker (LP 100), Equipped by Ulhan (????)
Attack: 108 Evade: 40 Magic: - Vitality: - Speed: -
Element: - Added Effect: Don't Act (50%)
CT: 28 Chain: 10 Metal: 1 Buy: - Sell: 12500
How to get: -
5% drop chance (18% with monographs) from Evil Spirit(????????).
Evil spirit has a 5% chance of replacing Forbidden (????????)
in the upper layer of the Great Crystal.
???????F (Shikari no Nagasa F)
Shikari (LP 220), Equipped by Shikari (???)
Attack: 104 Evade: 25 Magic: - Vitality: - Speed: -
Element: - Added Effect: KO (70%)
CT: 21 Chain: 15 Metal: 2 Buy: - Sell: 12750
How to get: -
5% drop chance (18% with monographs) from Larva Eater (????????)
in the Great Crystal. To lure out the rare monster, you need to
kill 256 monsters after entering the Great Crystal. However, once
you kill it and miss the item, you'll need to kill more monsters
(30 to 256) for it to appear again.
??????A (Durandal A)
Swords 9 (LP 90), Equipped by Knight (???) & Time Mage (?????)

Trade 3x Lifewick (???????), 4x ring wyrm scale (??????),
1x Leshach Halycon (????) at Bazaar
Lifewick can be obtained from Necrofiend (???????) in Henne Mines
(18% with Warmage monograph) or stolen from the same monster (3 - 6%)
Ring wyrm scales are extremely low rate drops by wyrms in various places.
Leshach Halycon is dropped or stolen from ice element in Paramina Rift.
???N (Orochi N)
Orochi (LP 180), Equipped by Shikari (???) (MK 125 needed)
Attack: 102 Evade: 32 Magic: - Vitality: - Speed: -
Element: - Added Effect: Poison (20%)
CT: 22 Chain: 32 Metal: 2 Trade: 90000 Sell: 10500
How to get: -
Trade 2x Coeurl Whisker (???????), 2x sickle blade (???????),
3x cancer gem (?????) at Bazaar
Coeurl Whiskers are dropped by Ose in Great Crystal (16% with hunter
monograph) or poaching the same monster (5%). They are also stolen
from rare hunt Grimalkin (??????) (3 to 5%).
Sickle blades are dropped by preying mantis in Feywood (10% with knight
monograph) or poaching the same monster (5%). They can be stolen
from rare hunt Rageclaw (??????) (3 to 6%) in Salikawood. One is
obtained when the Antlion mob hunt is completed.
Cancer gems are common drops from some monsters.

Solid stones are dropped by monsters (???) in temples
Vampyr fangs are dropped by bat-like monsters (???) in the mines
Dark crystals are dropped by undead monsters
???????S (Gastrophetes S)
Crossbows 4 (LP 115), Equipped by Time Mage (?????)

CT: 24 Chain: 7 Metal: 2 Buy: - Sell: 10250
How to get:
Treasure in Pharos Lighthouse (Middle Layer, 61 floor) (100%) or
Buy from rare hunt clan shop at Phon Coast (give 25 trophies to Atak,
1 to Blok and 1 to Stok)
??????Y (Aldebaran Y)
Guns 7 (LP 190), Equipped by Machinist (???)

CT: 50 Chain: 10 Metal: 1 Trade: 120000 Sell: 15750
How to get: -
Trade 2x Emperor's scale (??????), 2x silver liquid (?????),
x earth crystal (?????) at Bazaar
Emperor's scale can be stolen from Deathgaze
(?????, mob hunt) or
dropped by Archaeoaeivs (????????) in Zertina Caverns. The former
method is highly recommended as Archaeoaeivs is extremely difficult
to defeat in the IZJS
Silver liquid is dropped by flan monster (?????) found in Nabudis
Deadlands or flan monster (??????) in Stillshrine miram
Earth crystal is dropped by earth element monsters
