First of all, thanks to God for giving me and my friends to get the task done just in
time. Although I encountered many difficulties while completing this task, I still managed to
complete it and I am very happy about it.
Thanks to my add math teacher, s. !ing "ia #i for being a good guider for us while
doing this task. $he has given us the e%ample and knowledge to make us understand more about
this add math project. I took the idea by referring last year&s students work. $he also keeps us
informed and understand all the e%planations before we started working on this project.
I also want to thank my friends who are willing to share their information about the add
math project. They gave me lots of new ideas about the project and I use all the information,
especially in understanding the task.
Also a big thanks to my family who had tried their best to give their support to me either
by giving me a lot of encouragement to complete this task, or to support me technically by
providing the necessary e'uipment such as laptops and others.

Landscaping re"ers to an& activit& t,at modi2es t,e visible "eatures o" an area o"

!andscape architecture is a multi:disciplinary field , incorporating aspects of
botany, horticulture , the fine arts , architecture, industrial design , geology and the earth
sciences , environmental psychology , geography , and ecology . The activities of a landscape
architect can range from the creation of public parks and parkways to site planning for campuses
and corporate office parks , from the design of residential estates to the design of
civil infrastructure and the management of largewilderness areas or reclamation of degraded
landscapes such as mines or landfills. !andscape architects work on all types of structures and
e%ternal space : large or small, urban, suburban and rural, and with ;hard; *built+ and ;soft;
*planted+ materials, while integrating ecological sustainability. The most valuable contribution
can be made at the first stage of a project to generate ideas with technical understanding and
creative flair for the design, organi8ation, and use of spaces. The landscape architect can
conceive the overall concept and prepare the master plan, from which detailed design drawings
and technical specifications are prepared. They can also review proposals to authori8e and
supervise contracts for the construction work. They can also review proposals to authori8e and
supervise contracts for the construction work. 4ther skills include preparing design impact
assessments, conducting environmental assessments and audits, and serving as an e%pert witness
at in'uiries on land use issues.

!andscape designs focuses on both the integrated master landscape planning of a
property and the specific garden design of landscape elements and plants within it. The
practical, aesthetic, ,orticultural, and environmental sustainability components merit

CIRCLE
A circle is a simple shape of 3uclidean geometry that is the set of all points in a plane that are at
a given distance from a given point, the centre. Imagine a straight line segment that is bent
around until its ends join. The distance between line and the centre is called the radius. It can
also be defined as the locus of a point e'uidistant from a fi%ed point.
There is a difference between a circle and a disk. A circle is a line, and so, for e%ample, has no
area : just as a line has no area. A disk however is a round portion of a plane which has a circular
outline. If you draw a circle on paper and cut it out, the round piece is a disk.

The measurement ,Bm % ,Bm is the most appropriate measure compared to other
measures to build a landscaping project for the total cost to build it is =.D ,/-.E,. It is cheaper
than the allocation of construction which is =,- ---. It is the best because if the measurement
is ,Cm % ,Cm, the total cost e%ceeds =,- ---. Fowever, the total cost to build a ,0m % ,0m
si8e is =, .0E.,/ lower than the allocation but difference in the amount of construction
allocation and ,Bm % ,Bm measurement is =C0D..E only.
The reason I choose rectangle, circle in a piece of land in the shape of s'uare is because I
would like to combine two rectangle as one space and fill them with playground and the other
two rectangle as e%ercise area e'uipped with simple e'uipment, another rectangle will be garden
type of rela%ing area complete with wooden table and chair. All the shaded area will be carped
type of grass and the unshaded area will be the foot refle%ology. This design also have the
biggest area of grass that is shaded area. It also obey with the campaign organi8e by )enang
Government that is ?1leaner, Greener )enang@.

(hile doing the Additional athematics )roject (ork , I have learned the history
of landscaping which is one of the topic that I would like to know more about it .
5e%t , I also learn to be more cooperative person as this project work together
and share their knowledge which is also sharpened my thinking skills .
Furthermore , this project is just like revision for my upcoming $)

,. !ist out several moral values that you practice when doing this project
(hile doing this project, I practiced many moral values7
1%
Firstly, I learned to be more patient and careful when calculating the total cost of
each measurement. If default, the calculation of the cost of a certain si8e will be
wrong and the project will not complete.
I also learned to appreciate time and discipline myself to make work on time. Ay
following the time schedule, the project was able to be completed on time.
Ay doing this project, I learned to become an organised person. I organi8e my
work so that my work run smoothly in the process of completing this project.
