JODHPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY:- Jodhpur National University has pioneered the concept of technical and professional education in
the Western part of Rajasthan. It was established by Govt. of Rajasthan u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. Since its inception, it has strived to
provide excellence in all fields of technical and professional education by attracting the best of the faculty from a wide spread spectrum of
intellectuals from all over the country and abroad. The University is situated in the suburbs of Jodhpur and is housed in a sprawling campus of
30 acres. It provides a highly stimulating and intellectually vibrant ambience to the students wishing to pursue quality education and excellence
in their chosen field.
KSOU:-Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) was established on 1st June 1996 with the assent of His Excellency Honorable Governor of
Karnataka as a full fledged University in the academic year 1996 vides Government notification no ED 1 UOV 95 dated 12th February 1996
(KSOU Act 1992). The act was promulgated with the object to incorporate an Open University at the State level for the introduction and
promotion of Open University and Distance Education systems in the education pattern of the State and for the Co-ordination and determination
of standard of such systems.
With the virtue of KSOU Act of 1992, Karnataka State Open University is empowered to establish, maintain or recognize Colleges,
Regional Centers and Study Centers at such places in Karnataka and may also open outside Karnataka at such places as it deems fit.
Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi, has accorded recognition to Karnataka State Open University, Mysore for offering
Programmes / Courses approved by the Statutory bodies of the University. Karnataka State Open University is a recognized University
of Distance Education Council under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) (Revised notification F. No.
DEC/OU/Recog./2008).
Karnataka State Open University is a regular member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi since 1999 (No.
EV/11(80)/99/203935-4172).
Karnataka State Open University is a permanent member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London, United
Kingdom since 1999. Its member code is: ZKASOPENUINI.
Karnataka State Open University is a permanent member of Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China since
1999.
Karnataka State Open University has association with Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Vancouver, Canada since 2003. COL is an
intergovernmental organization created by Commonwealth Heads of Government to encourage the development and sharing of open
learning / distance education knowledge, resources and technologies.
MONAD UNIVERSITY :-Monad University, Hapur has been established vide Act No.23 of 2010 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This
has been published in its Official Gazette on October 12, 2010. A letter of authorization from the Government of Uttar Pradesh has also been
issued on dated January 11, 2011. Subsequently, Monad University has come into existence and has started its operations.
SHOBHIT UNIVERSITY:- The Shobhit University Meerut Uttar Pradesh has been established by NICE Society under the provision of the u/s-
3 of UGC Act of the Government of India. The Shobhit University all the status of Deemed University on 8th November, 2006 the provision of
1956.Approved by the UGC-DEC.
SWAMI VIVEKANAND UNIVERSITY:- is established by the Act of State Legislature, M.P. and is notified in the Official Gazette {Act No.
44 of 2011 The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Staphana Avam Sanchalan) Tritiya Sansodhan Adhiniyam, 2011 Dated 31 Dec. 2011}
of the State Government after having received the assent of his excellency Governor of Madhya Pradesh, who is the Visitor of SVN University.
SVN University is established to develop aspiring persons into young intelligent technocrats, with a view to accomplish vision, the management
of SVN University has developed excellent teaching, learning facilities and environment. The campus has been specially designed to cater to the
needs of Madhya Pradesh climate to function efficiently.
Shridhar University :-Established under section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 by the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly vide The Shridhar University
Act No. 4)
Sunrise University:-Sunrise University is situated on a sprawling campus of 30 acres in the National Capital Region Alwar which is also known
as Tiger Gate of Rajasthan. It is established under Sunrise University Act, 2011 (Act No. 22 of 2011) and recognized by University Grant
Commission u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.
