Therapeutic use/Mechanism in action:

Fluttering of heart is an abnormality of the heart rhythm, resulting in a rapid and sometimes
irregular heartbeat and is called arrhythmias the main danger of atrial flutter is that the heart does
not pump blood well when it is beating too fast.

When blood is not pumped well, vital organs, such as the heart and brain, may not get enough
oxygen from the blood and can cause heart diseases, angina pectoris, auricular fibrillation,
myocardial infarction, hypertension, hyper lipidemia, angina, palpitation and heaviness in the
chest.

Neocordil contains arjunetin, arjunic acid, arjunolic acid, arjunetin, arjunic acid, arjunolic acid,
and arjungenin, sesquiterpenes,lignans and neolignans. Working as an equivalent to a Beta
blocker/calcium channel blockers it is also acts as a diuretic and tranquilizer.

Terminalia arjuna : Cardiac tonic
Withania somnifera : Antioxidant
Nardostachys jatamansi : Tranquliser
Boerhaavia diffusa : Diuretic
Eletteria cardamomum : Antiflatulant
Terminallia chebula : Antioxidant
Nelumbium speciosum : Anxiolytic
Calx of Antlers deer : Cardiac tonic

Indications : Ischaemic heart disease, Angina pectoris, Auricular fibrillation, mild
hypertension, as a calcium channel blocker, as a prophylactic to
myocardial infraction

Dosage and administration:

Adults : Taken orally and patients can have 2-3 capsules a day. Leafy
vegetables and fiber-rich vegetable diet is advised. Oily food
should be completely avoided.

Pediatric Use : Not for infants and children.

Pregnant women and nursing mothers/cancer patients:

Should use it strictly as directed by the physician

Patients receiving complementary or alternative medicine:

Neocordil is compatible with other forms of treatment and has registered no adverse side effects.

Initial Dosage:

2 or 3 capsules a day/ 1-0-1 as directed by the physician after food and never on an empty
stomach.

It is also the recommended starting dosage.

Maintenance Dosage : 2 capsules twice a day

Maximum Dosage : 2 capsules twice a day

Precautions:

The capsule can be administered according to doctors prescription only.
Store the medicine in a cool dry place. Protect from light and excessive heat. Keep out of
reach of children.
The patient is advised to follow the doctors diet instructions.
Smoking is contraindicated and consumption of liquor should be reduced to the
minimum.
