planning practitioner. His experience has been gained through
senior workforce planning roles in the Department of Defence,
and consulting engagements with public, private and non-for-profit
organisations. Tony is able to provide significant insights into the
art and science of workforce planning to help people understand
its importance and to develop processes and methods to support
the development and implementation of effective workforce plans.
Tony is a confident facilitator and is willing to share his knowledge
with others to enable them to enhance their strategic and workforce
planning capabilities.
5.00 Workshop ends closing remarks by the chairperson
Time and costs are crucial now, more than ever before within the Australian Government. The (new) economic scenario, ushering a wave of
budget cuts and drastic changes in the workforce as a result, has already had far reaching repercussions on multiple departments within
an organisation and for the stakeholders outside of it. It is precisely during such critical phases when certain departments assume pivotal
focus - for managing, contributing and securing an organisations standing. At such unpredictable times, Workforce Planning & Human
Resources is your answer. How best then, can it enable you to plan, adapt, create & forge ahead
