CARMNRE AL MUNDO:

RECOGNIZED INTERNATIONAL WINE CONTEST IN CHILE




In its fourth version, the contest inspired by the iconic variety of Chile, aims to demonstrate internationally
how Carmenere developed its identity and potential. National and international wine samples are expected to
be received, with the participation of prominent local and foreign juries.


Between October 15th and 17th will take place at the Conference Center of Monticello Grand Casino,
Santiago, the fourth version of the expected Wine Contest "Carmenre al Mundo 2014", unique event
worldwide specialized in this grape variety, which will count with the participation of prominent International
and National juries.

Organized by the Chilean Association of Agronomic Engineer - Oenologist and under the rules of the
International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE), the
competition seeks to evidence the high quality of the wines obtained from the Carmenere variety and show it
to consumers in Chile and around the world.

Juries from Argentina, Brazil, Japan, France, New Zealand, Spain, United States and Uruguay, along with the
most outstanding national specialists, must choose the best exponents of this variety in the categories "Pure
Carmenre" and "Blend Carmenre". Winning wines will receive gold medal and silver medal, and also the
best by category will be awarded with the Grand Trophy.

"Our competition in its fourth version, already consolidated in seriousness and category, will allow us to show
the quality of the wines Carmnre as a great exponent of Chile on the international wine scene. Within the
diversity of Chilean vineyard, Carmenere has managed to develop a great typicity being recognized and well
appreciated as one of the fine wines of Chile", says Carolina Arnello, President of the Contest.

But not everything will be tasting, while visiting our country, international juries will participate in various
activities, to show them the characteristics and diversity of the national viticulture, visiting wineries, vineyards
and tasting the wide variety of wines that are currently produced in the Chile, and enjoy the diverse local
gastronomy.

Registration will open in August, but we invite you to save the date to participate in the fourth version of the
