ASTROS MANAGER TOM LAWLESS:

On Tropeano making his first start:

He was nervous. Thats why I went out and tried to settle him down early. Some pitches were close that he didnt get, and
I just told him to not get frustrated, to keep doing what he does. And he settled down in the third, fourth and fifth and did a
nice job.

On Altuve reaching 200 hits:

I told him after the game that its hard to do what he did this year. That bat is a little club, and I dont think he knows how
hard it is to do. Congratulations to him. We talked a little bit yesterday and today, and he couldnt sleep he was thinking
about it so hard. I just told him to relax, theres plenty of time. And once he got the first one tonight, I knew he was going
to get the second one.

On if he thinks Altuve will get to 210 hits to break the franchise record:

He might get to 220, who knows. Today I asked him if he needed a day off, and he said he wanted to keep playing, and
thats who he is. Hes going to play, hes going to battle, and hes going to do the things that hes done all year.

On Max Stassis 2-RBI single in the 2
nd
inning:

That was key two-out base hit. Hes a good hitter. He knows hes a strong hitter and hes developed himself into a pretty
good player. From day one in Oklahoma City to now, hes improved as a player on both offence and defense.
