As a missionary,
the mission
president
challenged our
mission to keep a
"Commandments
Journal". In the
journal, we were
to write each
commandment we
read in the
scriptures and the
blessings
promised those
who obey the
commandment. It
was such a great
experience to
learn the truth that
Heavenly Father
always blesses
our obedience.
We are asked to
obey, so that we
can have joy!

our priesthood power through sharing the gospel, serving others, and growing in love toward

YM Presidency Message

There are several important words that begin with the letter 'R' in the gospel (repentance,
resurrection). This month's theme of prophets focuses on one of these: Revelation. Our ability - and
opportunity - to rely upon the Holy Ghost to communicate to us the Eternal Truths ensures that we
stay in tune with our Heavenly Father's will. I pray that we will focus this month on improving our
ability to recognize and understand revelation in our lives.

During the Easter Season we celebrate Christs resurrection. What a great reason for joy! No
matter our weakness, faults, or challenges, Christs victory can help us. He overcame and
through him, we can overcome. As Priesthood holders, part of our duty is to share this message
with others. We must do as we read in 2 Nephi 25:26 and make Christ the center of our lives so
that we can be examples unto others of where they can find salvation.

YM Presidency Message

As your new Young Men's Presidency, we want you to thank you for being so welcoming. Each
of you is an important member of our group. In Moses 7:18 we read: "And the Lord called his
people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there
was no poor among them." What I love about this scripture is that the people were united in
purpose, even though they each had their own unique personalities, traits, wants, and needs.
Please join with us this month in helping to build up others by choosing words and actions that
recognize their talents and abilities. I truly believe our Priesthood calling is to teach Heavenly
Father's children learn to fly, not to crawl.
