Taj Mall is an upscale shopping complex, situated in the heart of Abdoun, the most
afuent area of Amman, the capital of Jordan. Consisting a total area of 150,000m,
the mall provides for 170 stores and features the latest in contemporary retail and
leisure facilities, including a diverse mix of speciality retail, restaurants, cafes, a
supermarket, a state-of-the-art multiple cinema and family entertainment centre.
The client approached EC Harris when the project had stalled mid-construction,
with signicant costs already spent and an environment of continuing delays and
unsafe working practices. EC Harris was appointed to control, help realise value
for the client and drive the project to successful completion.

1. Working with the client to re-establish
credibility and trust with tenants, EC Harris
aided in ensuring 70% tenant occupancy on
opening, at rental rates which met the
requirements of the development appraisal
