JOB TITLE Project Manager, Targeted Services and Grant Administration JOB CODE

GENERAL JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the management and administration of targeted services sponsored by grant
funding, including managing dedicated employment specialists (2) and a support staff. Additionally, this
position is responsible for the research, strategy, coordination, writing, submission of all grant applications
(Local, State, Federal & private) to assure adequate funding for agency operations, services, and programs.

Targeted Services

Coordinate all activities of Employment Specialists and staff supporting Targeted
Services. Supervise staff and provide structured training and guidance as needed.

Maintain accurate records of mission results; prepare budget and financial records
and requirement reports.

Market services to employers, referral sources, partnering agencies and potential
clients. Develop relationships with employers and hiring managers.

Research and identify funding opportunities for new program areas to match agency
priorities, as well as communicate and work with the organization to identify government and
private funding opportunities for current programs.

Coordinate and conduct presentations with regards to grant opportunities. Tracks existing
grant deadlines, monitors status of reports due to funding agencies. Create and maintain grant
proposal files. Responsible for the writing and submission of all grant proposals to local,
State, Federal, and private funding sources.

3. Collaborate and communicate with other departments to facilitate efficient operation
of placement services and overall mission of the Goodwill organization. Other duties
as assigned.

SKILLS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in vocational rehabilitation, business administration, marketing or placement
services, and two years experience working with individuals with disabilities, and prior
managerial responsibility of team members and grant acquisition and administration experience.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively with other team
members. Proficient in standard computer operations and relevant software.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office environment, mobile, ability to sit for long periods of time, and able to lift 10-15 lbs. Must
have reliable transportation.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:

Valid drivers license/State-issued ID; SSN card. Must pass background check, drug screen, and
meet staff qualifications set by Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitation Services.
