LAS VEGAS, Nevada April 19, 1999 - The HARRIS/PBS DTV Express rolled into Las Vegas this week
for a second appearance at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in the outside
exhibit area at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The HARRIS/PBS DTV Express made its industry debut at last year's NAB convention, just prior to
the beginning of its 40-city tour. Since NAB '98, the HARRIS/PBS DTV Express has logged more

The HARRIS/PBS DTV Express comes to NAB with new equipment and an updated "consumer side"
presentation, which emphasizes DTV's datacasting capabilities.
"We've seen momentum and enthusiasm for DTV build tremendously over the past year, " says Jud
French, Harris executive director, DTV Express. "Our mission has always been education, and we're
going to continue to provide that education by emphasizing that digital television is more than high
definition."

examples as well as new high definition footage and a dramatic new AC-3 surround sound
demonstration.
