The bottom line is, wizards and sorcerers get the short end of the stick in so many areas--hit

t dice, skill
points, BAB, armor class, supplemantary class features, et al--that in order to be a compelling character
choice they warrant a major asset to call their own, namely nuking.
This. Is. Patently. Wrong. A wizard trades out their hit dice and BAB in order to get high enough Int as to have all the skill
points they'll ever need, Shield, age Ar!or, Protection "ro! #, and other spells to give the! all the A$ they'll ever need,
%ly, Teleport, $ontingency, and other spells to !ake sure the only people who can approach the! in the "irst place &are
other wizards&, and even at level ' they have access to the hilarious spells $olor Spray and Sleep, !eaning that they can, i"
they get their way, start neutering entire encounters "ro! the word (go(.
What does the war)lade get, in co!parison* ore hitpoints, which won't co!e into play when you've got spells rendering
you helpless and coup+de+grace+a)le, a higher BAB, which is useless when you can't attack the invisi)le "lying wizard ,--
"eet straight a)ove you, less skill points due to a lower .typically/ Int score, e0uivalent ar!or since they can't wear heavy
ar!or unless they pay out the ass "or !ithril, and which they will )e needing since they can't play keep away like the
wizard, and sort+o" spells that !ostly 1ust do da!age or provide a de"ensive )oon )ut cannot co!pare to "reaking 2vard's
Black Tentacles, Sleet Stor!, or Power Word3 Stun.
(But the "ighter is !ade look so weak and in"le4i)le in co!parison5( you !ay say. That is )ecause the "ighter &is& weak and
in"le4i)le. The )uilds you can !ake with a "ighter pale in co!parison to the ones you can !ake with a wizard. 6ou're the
ulti!ate chain tripper* I create !y own realities, travel through ti!e, su!!on ar!ies out o" the aether, and render all who

$o!pared to this a)solute nonsense, a "ighter+)ut+)etter in the war)lade is per"ectly reasona)le. It does nothing )ut
highlight what a !ess and a 1oke the "ighter is to )egin with. And even still, as I !entioned a)ove, the war)lade cannot
co!pete with even a decently+)uilt wizard .I2 not a !indless "ire)all spa!!er, )ut a )attle"ield controller/.
But go on, I'd love to hear !ore a)out how the war)lade is co!pletely un)alanced, un"air, poorly designed, etc. while
nothing is ever !entioned o" the power o" Wish, iracle, 9enesis, Power Word3 Whatever, and all the other "un toys the "ull
casters get. Those a)ilities* Why, they pay "or the! in )lood and class "eatures5 The war)lade* :e gets to swing his sword
in a "unny way and is still )etter than the "ighter, one o" the worst P$ classes in the ga!e5 P2;ABA<5
