 Hello, and welcome to Aquallusion Design Concepts, LLC. I am Dave McKnight,
founder and principal designer for Aquallusion. As a native of Florida and
having grown up on the water, I was uniquely inspired to create a lighting
system that imitates water - thereby conserving our natural water resource.
To me, water is the most beautiful thing found on Planet Earth. Also, I
knew if I could re-create water, it would be magic - something truly amazing.

Today, when designs imitate nature, it is referred to as 'biomimicry.' And, based on a patented design process,
our lighting does just that. Aquallusion lighting creates a vibrant visual effect by combining LED
color-changing effects with the illusion of bubbling 'water in motion.' Hence the name, Aqua - llusion (just drop
the 'i'). People seem naturally drawn to the lighting and want to get up close and see what is happening --
which is why so many people use our lights at trade show and special events, as well as for creating
stimulating entertainment environments.

Since 2000, we have provided lighting for night clubs, sporting venues, cruise ships. bar lighting, theatrical
lighting, home theatre, game rooms, arcades, and many other applications. I am thrilled Aquallusion lighting
designs have gained such widespread acceptance and worldwide use. You will notice while reviewing this
product guide, that there are three different visual effects or 'styles' for our products. These styles are Frosted,
IceIllusion, Lava and Aquallusion. Our standard models are designed to be shipped and setup easily. To learn
some ways customers are using our lighting, jump to the section in this guide labeled, Lighting Design
Gallery.

The EFX Light Column Series is an architectural column system that combines a
decorative base and capital with an acrylic optical light tube. These tubes contain
a polyester prismatic film that transmits light evenly throughout the tube. In
addition, to create our bubbling effect, a lightweight white bead material floats on
on an internal air stream. The light passing through the tube is refracted off the white
material and viewed through the film, this presents a cadence lighting effect. This

patented effect is called “Aquallusion™”.

The standard EFX Light Column models are available in 3 different lighting effect
styles. Aquallusion is our bubble effect, Frosted is a colored light tube effect,
and Ice Illusion is light flowing through hand sculpted acrylic.
