1.) Bags, back packs, and personal belongings may be brought inside the computer laboratory and deposited to the shelves or table in front near teachers table. Students must guard their valuable like electronic devices and wallets. SPCFI will not be held liable for the loss or damage of any personal property of laboratory users. 2.) Students must stay only at the terminals assigned to them as their Instructor will give their seat number during the frst meeting of laboratory class. The seat number assigned will be the students permanent terminal for the whole semester. 3.) In case of damages or malfunctioning units/system, (ex. Damaged or non-working units) student can be transferred to terminals allowed only by the class instructor. Students are not allowed to remove labels of terminals marked as damaged or malfunctioning. Loitering inside the lab is strictly prohibited. Only one student should occupy one computer terminal. In case of group work, the laboratory assistant may allow a maximum of two students to occupy a single terminal. No one is allowed to alter the setting confguration of any computer laboratory facility without proper authorization from the MIS Personnel. Equipment and cables are to be moved by authorized personnel only. Students are not allowed to attach personal hardware or software in any of the computer laboratorys network without permission from the class instructor, who in turn would notify the MIS Personnel. Any malfunction or damage observed at the terminals assigned must be immediately reported to the class instructor. Chewing gum, eating, drinking, smoking, and any form of vandalism are strictly prohibited inside the computer laboratory. Games are not allowed inside the computer laboratory. This includes computer-related games, card games and other games that may disturb the operation of the laboratory. Accessing PORNOGRAPHIC sites is strictly prohibited Cellular phones must be in silent mode before entering any computer lab. Silence should always be observed. Any conduct or activity which disturbs the computer laboratorys environment is not allowed. Anyone causing continual disturbance will asked to leave the facility or be given disciplinary sanctions. Individuals exhibiting hostile or threatening behavior such as yelling and swearing must leave the laboratory. Display of personal afection inside the laboratory is strictly prohibited. Computer laboratories are designated for academic use. Students needing to use computers to complete academic assignments are given priority over those using the facility for recreation. Proper decorum must be observed inside computer laboratories. Wearing of hats/caps and other body clothing accessories that cause distraction to students are not allowed. The class instructor or the MIS Personnel has the right to advise any user to leave the premises in case the user violates any of the policies.
