University of Novi Sad is the second largest university in Serbia.
University of Novi Sad was established on 28th June 1960.
It comprises 14 faculties located in 4 cities in Vojvodina:
- Novi Sad,
- Subotica,
- Sombor and
- Zrenjanin.
- The University is located on the University campus on the left bank
of the Danube river, near the center of Novi Sad.

Technical Faculty "Mihajlo Pupin - Zrenjanin
After 40 years of its foundation, it is the most important university
level institution in Banat, and a responsible member of the University
of Novi Sad.
In 2010, the Faculty adopted its Development Strategy in accordance
with the strategy of the University, labour market needs and regional
social development with simultaneous branding of the faculty
increasing its material and nonmaterial values.

At the moment 2.000 students study at the Faculty actively. 35
professors and 23 teaching/teaching assistents. Instruction at the
Faculty on all three levels of academic studies is accredited (since
2009).
Basic and master studies are delivered in field of:
- Information Technologies,
- Industrial Engineering,
- Clothing Technologies ,
- Engineering Management and
- Engineering of Environmental Safety as a joint study program with
the Faculty of Technical Sciences of Novi Sad.

Model for implementation Computational intelligence techniques (fuzzy logic,
rough sets, neural networks, etc.) in software tools for business processes
improvement
Model and software prototype for inner transportation optimization in
warehouses based on graph search algoritms
Model and software prototype for definition of cirtical paths in project based
on graph search algorithms
Model for optimization of work in software SMEs which includes:
- qualitative analysis of maintenance request processing in small software
companies in Banat region (RO + SRB)
- prediction programmer workload based on timeline in maintenance request
process
- extension of software application for tracking maintenance requests in small
software company
