ABSTRACT
Prodigy is an interactive and integrated Guidance and Counseling training module. It aims to assist
counselors to be more effcient and skillful in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. This
module integrates the affective cognitive and behavioral aspects of learning in its development and
implementation stages. The users are able to achieve signifcant desired outcomes.
INTRODUCTION
Prodigy offers vital and effective materials which are useful to guidance and counseling teachers
which are required in conducting their daily tasks. This unique and innovative software is invaluable
as it helps the users to understand the essential elements in the development and improvement of
human development in schools. The content of this program has been progressively developed
since its frst introduction in year 2003. In the feld of guidance and counseling this software is
known to be the frst of its kind, making it the only one ever produced in Malaysia. Prodigy has
participated in several competitions and attained awards at the national as well as international
levels.
CONTENT
Prodigy is divided into 2 sections:

Prodigy offers assistance to guidance
and counseling teachers as well as other
individuals who play vital roles in the
development and improvement of students
behavior. It aspires to lessen the burdens of

2. Course Modules
Prodigy comprises a step-by-step course module for the purpose of conducting:
ICE BREAKING
Assisting participants to respect themselves and others, uncover ones self-
potential, to breakaway negative paradigmship on themselves. Strengthening
informal exchange among participants.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Assisting participants to incalcute love themselves and others unconditionally,
to care and to provide well treatment for themselves without disregard others
felicity.
SUBCONCIOUS
Assisting participants to accept and to realize their weaknesses. Therefore they
will utilized internal energy to overcome these weaknesses which are mentally and
phsically.
PERSONALITY
Assisting participants to uncover and to understand themselves and consequently
they will change towards positive behaviour.
COMMUNICATION
Assisting participants to understand communication problems and how to
communicate effectively in order to establish good relationship with others.
INTEAM
Assiting participants to realise and appreciate relationship with others, establishing
togetherness and incalcute cooperation with others to achieve accomplishment.
RELAXATION
Assisting participants to cope with stress through stress management techniques.
They will be engaged with skills and techniques of stress management theoritically
and practically.

Assisting participants to evalute his potential, incalcute interest and establish
carrier development planning according to their personality and self ability towards
themsleves without disregard others felicity.
KEMBARUN
Assisting participants to develop mental, physical and spiritual endurance as well
as to understand more about the challenges and obstacles in real life.

Assisting participants to learn effectively in any situation via learning techniques
that suit self personality.
CREATIVE THINKING
Assiting participants to generate out-of-the-box thinking and to enhance self-
innovation. Participants will be trained to utilise maximum self-potential to
generate and to realize new ideas.
PLAN OF ACTION
Assisting participants to solve situational problems through creative and smart
methods.
ALTERNATIVE DISCIPLINE MANAGEMENT
Assisting participants to generate a new holistic ideas in managing and dealing
with disciplinary problems in school.
CREATIVITY IN MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION
Encouraging participants thinking to produce audio-visual materials and to
utilize ICT so that, the implemented programme or courses will be attractive and
effective.
LEADERSHIP
Training participants to increase the quality of leadership and higher awareness
towards surroundings and current situation.

These activities are implemented as a purpose to train and encourage participants
to utilize their energy to refresh ones physical and mental weaknesses.
ENERGIZER
The activities in this module is specially designed to encourage participants to
utilize their energy in order to recover from physical and mental weaknesses.
ASSIST DOC
This module is a type of software to assist guidance and counseling teachers or
anyone who in charge in management and documentation of students attitude
