Specification WO Rig KB 200C


1.0 DRILLING/WORKOVER RIG
KB 200C is a fully refurbished back in double stand Workover Rig capable for heavy
workover as well as medium depth drilling operations. The redesigned freestanding KB 200C
has a small footprint and a fast rig up and rig down capability. The rig was manufactured in
1997.

2.0 MAIN CARRIER
The carrier is a custom made 8x8 with a length of 15,20m and is driven by a fully
refurbished Caterpillar 3406 combined with an Allison Transmission CLT 754DB. A Drop Box is
converting the drive from the axles to the hoisting system, which is mainly driven by a chain
compound.
Furthermore a second PTO is driving a Chelsea 852 series hydraulic pump, which powers:
2x2 stabilizers,
2x telescopic outriggers for rig up the first mast section,
1x hydraulic winch in the second mast part for rig up the second mast section
1x hydraulic auxiliary winch with a capacity of 3 t
2.1 Caterpillar 3406 & Allison CLT 754DB
The Cat 3406C is a fuel injected in-line, six-cylinder diesel engine used in a wide range of
heavy duty equipment applications. This engine is designed to resist wear and tear at high
heat levels thanks to a turbocharged after cooler and hard-faced intake/exhaust valves that
rotate three degrees with each lift to ensure proper valve seating and distribution of heat.
The 3406 with 460 BHP at 2100 rpm is a considered one of Cat's medium-sized engines
Allison CLT 754DB is a five gear pneumatic controlled transmission


3.0 TELESCOPIC MAST
The API 4F manufactured mast is refurbished and MPI tested certified.
