Introduction THE VOICE OF THE WORD PROPHETIC MISSION INTERNATIONAL IS AN IN-TERDENOMINATIONA CHRISTAIN ORGANISATION located in Makurdi state capital of Benue state. The vision of the mission was received from the lord by his servant IAN FERVENT since 1999 after which was made plane on the 16 th of December 2005 with definite and clear direction which lead to creating a team of young people who went into intersection in preparation for the manifestation of the mission but have been carrying out series of programs. also as a way to prepare for the work assigned to him to carry out he went into service with various ministry to gain experience. Burden The intention of God for our day has been consistent. It is no longer an illusion but an ultimate reality that our generation requires a high level of prophetic accuracy and apostolic authority in order to fulfill Gods purpose, program and plan. Mere religious survival must give way to real spirit filled living. God is breaking from traditional boundaries into something more global. In these last days, the true Apostolic and Prophetic order will be fully restored in order to restructure the church and plant it on a sound footing. More so, God is implanting in the heart of His children the desire to be truly one with each other in order to express the global warfare against the dominion of darkness A mature Davidic mentality is rising upon the global church. All restrictions in every realm; social, cultural, political, economic, ethnic, organizational and denominational that divides the body of Christ and effective kingdom advancement are being shattered by the Prophetic and Apostolic presence in the church. There is a radical movement away from dead religious traditions and local limitations to a kingdom reality that involves every aspect of life. In the midst of organized religion, programs, activities and charismatic excitements, the church has lost the fundamental prophetic values and the patriarchal stands of the first fathers and has compromised the dominating dimension of Kingdom advancement.
2
It is time to leave Babylon so that we can go rebuild the broken walls and burnt gates of the church, which lie in desolation. We must again raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen, to restore into the church true worship and intercession in spirit and truth, which has been replaced by an assortment of activities. We must begin this construction by declaring the present revelation position of the Spirit in order to build spiritually new and relevant forms of local churches that communicate effectively to a generation facing severe crisis on the earth. The heart cry of God is for the global expression of the glory of the risen Christ and the emphasis of the emerging church is for kingdom realities. To this end, it has pleased the Lord to place a burden on the hearts of men to raise a VOICE, men that have not bowed themselves to the image of the World system, men who believe that in the midst of this chaos, God will still continue His Agenda. Aims And Objectives 1. To deepen personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ among members and help them see the relevance of their faith to their society and life as a whole 2. To encourage personal bible study and prayer life 3. To encourage members to have personal concern for others and to witness through their personal living and through his words. 4. To encourage responsible church membership The Purpose: 1. Transformation of lives by the word of God as an agent of change 2. Making life fruitful in every area
Transformation of life: Nothing transform our lives, churches, society and the nation like the word of God, it is the holy spirit through the word that transforms he is also the one that can build up the broken walls of the church, government and the society at large the word of God is a means to take man back to his meeting place in order to gain his lost glory getting back to the place of glory by the word of God is what brings you to the light of what you are suppose to become. Once you have an encounter with the word of God it opens you up to the mysteries of the kingdom of God and you will suddenly experience a change in the spirit which leads to the empowering of every aspect of your life.
3
Making life fruitful in every area: the mission is aimed at making life fruitful through the power of the holy spirit and its free will gifts and aids if transformation take place in a life there will be an evidence or proof of physical and spiritual productivity in your life any prosperity that comes from the word of God last and makes you a blessing to many lives. Many in our generation seems to be fruitful but are not impacting lives, Gods plan is to raise a generation that will be fruitful in every aspect of life., men that will touch lives in our generation (genesis 1:28-29) fruitfulness through the word give you a hope and future it helps in possessing the consciousness of God as truly his and help to develop the knowledge of God for greater impact (eph 1:17-19
Our Mission To raise spiritually minded people whose allegiance is to Christ and will represent and reproduce Kingdom life under all circumstances. Our Vision To release mature believers to fulfill their call in God. Core Values The pursuit of our vision and the evaluation of our mission is predicated on our Core values which is very central to our life, mission and vision, which are: Prayer- 1Thessalonians 5:17 Brotherly Love Acts 2:46; 1Thessalonians 4:9 To this end, it is important to have an administration to guide the affairs of the ministry as we see in the scriptures (see Titus 1:5; Acts 14:23; Col. 2:5; Acts 15:22; Num 11:25; Ex. 31:2-7). 1. An administration that exist only to support the spiritual life-wire of the corporate existence in the direction of the leadership of the Holy Spirit 2. It must be seen that, God only works as long as the Spirit is operational, and in order for us to enjoy rich Spirit fellowship we must have a deep personal fellowship hence, a need for a continuous cooperate prayer reality 3. A rich flow of spirit infused teaching 4. An organization or a situation where the core leadership pray together and breaks bread to facilitate the love of God
4
ABOUT THE MISSION The mission operates in various arms 1. The outreach arm (The voice of his glory) 2. The institutions of learning 3. Rehabilitation centers 4. Health care The Outreach Arm (The Voice Of His Glory) : This is the prayer and outreach arm of the mission where brethren from different denominations gather together in one accord and lift up their voice to the lord in prayer, in this arm people with different spiritual problem such as demonic possession, spiritual captivity and bondage and various kind of sickness are librated by the Holy spirit through prayers, Isaiah 62;6-7 . The outreach arm also deals with the teachings of the word of God; it is a place where the undiluted word of God is taught without compromise, fear or favor, it help to give brethren a solid foundation that is based on the sound doctrine of the word of God. Its foundation is laid on the truth of the word of God, today if you look around you, you will discover that there are so many problem with foundations just as we see in churches, communities and nations, wrong foundations come from wrong doctrine and wrong doctrines comes from wrong teaching of Gods word, so many people are compromising the word of God and are ignorant of biblical principles, wrong foundations have affected humanity spiritually and mentally that is why the society cant change because they are building on wrong foundations therefore our foundations can be good again if we come back to the study of the word of God as we gather together in fellowship, with this arm our lost values will be perfectly restored. The outreach encompasses the following: a) Intercessory prayer group
5
b) Crusades, seminars, fellowship with a chapel were people will gather and be thought the word c) Publication of tracts, newsletters, magazines and books to reach out to people d) Media outreach: Internet, Radio, Television and many more
The Institution Of Learning: The mission also have a vision of impacting into the life of the people in the society especially those in rural area by providing quality and good education for the society the mission hopes to build the morals of the people in the society as well as help the less privilege in their academical pursuit. The mission vow to send all the orphans in its orphanage to study up to university level by the expenses of the mission and also other less privilege in society as God will grant the grace. By this the mission hope to build schools in order to aid easy movement and training
Rehabilitation Centers: this is an arm of the mission that deals with the less privileged the physically challenged widows and orphans the mission hopes to be able to build orphanage and rehabilitation centers where the need of fellow brothers and sisters could be meet we also hope to empower this people to be able to have something doing that can help them in their day to day life so as to make the society a better place to be.
Health Care: the mission also hopes to have a health care service whereby we will be able to reach the less privilege through our community health work where we will give free medical checkup and treatment to those leaving in rural and urban area who do not have what it takes
A system ruled by the Spirit of Christ is revealed by the following signs: 1. Ministries are birthed 2. It is not threatened by evolving ministries; it celebrates releasing matured believers 3. There is sufficient kingdom challenges commensurate to everyones level Thus, the Ministry is structured presently with Directors overseeing Heads of Teams/Ministries. These Heads of Teams/Ministries all share in the responsibilities of executing the mandate of God for the ministry. The directors are independent of each other and individually answer directly to the president and he answer to the set man. They however relate through mutual understanding for the purpose of networking toward achieving the Ministrys objectives.
6
And so every leader should understand the administrative structure. The leadership structure herein is subject to the Holy Ghost and Christ who is the Chief Shepherd; the Administrator of the Universe etc. The ministry hierarchy therefore is as shown in the organizational chart below.
