this is my first instructable that i made using my old SVB webcam.
It's really simple to make.. just place anything 1.5cm away from camera lens and enjoy the crystal clear highly magnified images... PLZZZ VOTE FOR ME IF YOU LIKED IT.... let's begin..... See More How t o j oi n a F.I .R.S.T r obot i c s t eam by skyrunner06 How t o c r eat e a Sc i enc e Hac k Day by arielwaldman The Geek Gr oup - 2010 Ai r Rai d Si r en Demo by thermoelectric first of all open your camera beware not to destroy the cmos sensor.... i extended the wires of the image capturing button outside the webcam which allows us to have still images.. i also a switch to turn the led's on or off they were yellow and grey it may be different for yours..... St ep 3: Rever si ng t he l ens... second step is that we have to reverse the lens placed over the cmos sensor.......just place it 2-3mm away from the cmos sensor... St ep 4: Cl ose t he c over .... after reversing the lens screw the webcam back..... now its ready to use but i made a stand to get still images from it...... St ep 5: Fi nal body.... i used a soap box and fixed the webcam over it and as u can see from image it can be adjusted for getting images also i used a mirror below it so that the light spreads all over the object placed over it and also it provides the light from below the object.... If you can OP can you post an image of where to wire the tact switch to the PCB board? yes bro i will soon post it.... Excellent! Enter the lab hack contest. I have made microscope using my old digital cameras lens. but your idea I will try it out today. thaks thanx dwsworks plz vote for me if u liked it..... hi jeremymbates thanx for viewing my first instructable i only used 2 drops of quick fix to fix the lens from outside.... but its really very interesting to see various images around us in a way we never imagined.... Only problem is when reversing the lens there's no way to secure it in the model I have. I may have to glue it or something.
