Room 19s Book Clubs are an exciting way
to motivate students to read!
Book Club is a time for your child to talk to other students about
books they are reading. To guide our discussions, students use a list of
prompts to write their thoughts in a letter to share with their Book Club.
Book Club starts next week (Sept 22).
They will have time in class to be reading their book and writing their
Book Club letter. If they don't finish their letter in class, it will come
home as homework.
The children are invited to bring an extra snack on their Book Club
day. In the past, parents have coordinated to rotate bringing in
snacks for their childs Book Club group.
