Unfortunatly, there is still so much info that even with these search engines, its often a painstakingly slow process (something comparable to death for a hacker to find e!actly what you"re looking for. #ets get right into it. $ use google.com as my primary search engine because it presently tops the charts as far as the sites that it inde!es which means more pertinent info per search. %. &age translation. 'ust because someone speaks another language doesn"t mean they dont have anything useful to say. $ use translation tools like the ones found at http())babelfish.altavista.com and http())world.altavista.com to translate a few key words $ am searching for. *e specific and creative because these tools arent the most accurate things on the planet. +. ,irectories. These days everything is about ---. .e have to deal)w S/0 (search engine optimization which seems like a good idea on paper until you do a search for toys and get 1 pornsites in the first %2 results. Using a sites directory will eliminate that. 3ou can narrow your search down easily by looking for the info in specific catagories. (&S google ,0/S have directories, they"re at( directory.google.com 4. 5ere are some tips that google refers to as 6advanced6 7. 6!!!!6 ) will look for the e!act phrase. (google isnt case sensitive *. 8! ) will search for something e!cluding a certain term 9. filetype(!!! ) searches for a particular file e!tention (e!e, mp4, etc ,. 8filetype(!!! ) e!cludes a particular file e!tention /. allinurl(! ) term in the url :. allinte!t(! ) terms in the te!t of the page ;. allintitle(! ) terms in the html title of that page 5. allinanchor(! ) terms in the links <. 0= Self e!planatory, one or the other... This also works with dates, weights, etc F.
