Charges are NT$70 for the first 1.25 km and NT$5 for each
additional 250 meters.
MRT
The MRT system in Taipei price ranging from NT$20 to NT$65
depending on travel distance. MRT running hours is 6:00~24:00.
Taiwan High Speed Rail
An express train capable of running at up to 300 km/h travels from
Taipei City to Kaohsiung City in about 90 minutes with a price of
NT$1,265.
City Bus
Air-conditioned city buses are frequent and plentiful, and fares differ
according to the distance traveled. A single section fare is NT$15.
