Dua while using Khaak-e-Shifa
According to another tradition a person complained to the Imam that he was always assailed
by pains and diseases and whatever medicine he used to take did not benefit him. The Imam
advised him to take Khaak-e-Shifa and recite the following Dua before he holds it.

allaahumma innee as-aloka be-hae haa!ehit teenate wa be-hail malakil la!ee akha!ahaa
wa be-hain nabiyyil la!ee aba!ahaa wa be-hail wasiyyil la!ee halla feehaa salle a"laa
mohammadin wa ahle baytehi wa#-a"l feehaa shefaaa-an min kulle daaa-in wa amaanan min
kulle khawfin.
Translation:
$ Allah I bind Thee by thee by this clay and of that angel who had picked up this clay and of
the %rophet through whom this clay was sent and of that vicegerent who lies buried under this
clay and ask Thee to shower Thy blessing on &ohammad 's.a.w.a.( and Ahle )ait 'a.s.( and
make this clay a cure for all my diseases and a guardian against all fears.
All the fears will disappear and he will be completely cured from all pains.
Dua No. 2
While Eating Khaak-e-Shifa
According to another tradition if one has to eat Khaak-e-Shifa one should first kiss it then
hold it to one"s eyes and should not take more than a grain of gram a very small uantity
much less than a pinch. *or eating e+cess of Khaak-e-Shifa is like eating the meat and blood
of the holy descendant 'Ahlul )ait( of the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.(. And when one picks it up
from the resting place of Imam ,usain"s 'a.s.( one should recite the following Dua -

Transliteration:
allaahumma innee as-aloka be-hail malakil la!ee aba!ahaa wa as-aloka be-hain

a"laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin wa an ta#-a"lahaa lee shefaaa-an min kulle daaa-in
wa amaanan min kulle khawfin wa hif!an min kulle sooo-in.
Translation:
$ Allah I bind Thee by that angel who had lifted a handful clay- by the prophet who had
preserved it in the bottle. by the vice-regent who lies buried under it and pray Thee to shower
thy blessing on &ohammed and Aale &ohammad and make this pure clay a cure for all
diseases. a shield against all fears. and a safeguard against all curses.
After that Khaak-e-Shifa should. be tied in a cloth and over it should be recited Surah Inna
An!alanaa.
Dua No. 3
While Building New ouse
According to the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( a person who builds a new house should sacrifice a
healthy sheep and distribute its meat among the poor and needy and offer this Dua/

allaahummad har a"nnee maradatal #inne wal-inse wash-shayaateene wa baarik lee fee benaa-

Translations:
$ Allah0 Keep me away from rebellious #ins and men and devils and bless me in this house of
mine.
If one recites this prayer then 1od will keep away the rebel devils. 2ins and humans from him
and safeguard him from their mischief and make house lucky for him.

A reliable tradition from ,a!rat Ali 'a.s.( state that when a person enter his house he should
offer salutation and his house is not present he should say/

Translation:
&ay there be peace on us from our 1od.
3hen he is inside the house he should recite sure 4ul ,owal laaho Ahad as it keeps away
poverty and an+iety. 3hen one has to go out for some special work then one should go on
Thursday morning and recite those verses from Surah Aal-e-Imraan which are given below.

Inna fee khalis samaawaate wal-ar!e wakh-telaafil layle wan-nahaare la-aayaatil le-oolil
albaab. Alla!eena ya!koroonal laaha eyaamawn wa o-o"odawn wa a"laa !onoobehim wa
yatafakkaroona fee khalis samaawaate wal ar!e. rabbanaa maa khalata haa!aa baatelaa.
subhaanaka faenaa a"!aaban naar. 5abbanaa innaka man tudkhelin naara faad akh!aytahu.
wa maa li!-!aalemeena min ansaar. 5abbanaa innanaa same"naa monaadeyayn yonaadee lil-
eemaane an aamenoo berabbekum fa-aamannaa. rabbanaa fagh-fir lanaa !onoobanaa wa
kaffir a"nnaa sayye-aatenaa wa tawaffanaa ma-a"l abraar. 5abbanaa aatenaa maa wa-a"dtanaa
a"laa rosoleka wa laa tukh!enaa yawmal eyaamate. innaka laa tukhleful me-a"ad.
Translation:
6erily in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alteration of the night and the day.
there are signs for men who possess wisdom. Those who remember Allah standing. and
sitting and reclining on their sided and think 'Seriously( in the creation of the heaven and the
earth saying 7$ $ur 8ord0 Thou hast not created 'all( this in vain0 1lory be to Thee0 Save us
then from the torment of the ',ell( fire." $ $ur 8ord0 3homsoever Thou causeth to enter the
',ell( fire surely thou hast put him to disgrace- there is not. for the un#ust. any of the helpers.
$ $ur 8ord0 3e ,ave indeed heard the voice of a 9rier '&essenger( calling 'us( unto faith.
saying. :)elieve ye in your 8ord0; Therefore :*orgive us then our sins and remove away
from us our evil deeds and cause us to die with the virtuous ones;. $ $ur 8ord0 And give us
what Thou didst promise us through Thy prophet. and disgrace us not on the Day of
5esurrection- 6erily. Thou breakest not Thy %romise;.[1]

It is stated from Imam &uhammed )air 'a.s.( that
a person who will recite the following prayer when leaving the house. 1od will accomplish

I begin with the name of Allah. Allah is enough for me and him only I rely. $ Allah I pray
Thee for the welfare of all ray affairs and seek Thy shelter from the evils in this world and the
torments of the Day of 2udgement.

According to Imam 2a"far-e-Sadi 'a.s.(
the ,oly %rophet. 's.a.w.a.( uses to wear the ring on the fret finger and has prohibited wearing
of ring on the middle finger.
According to Imam 2a"far-e-Sadi 'a.s.(
A ring should be worn at the very end of the finger where it #oins with palm. According to

$ Allah let the sign of faith be the cause of my recognition0 8et my end be worthwhile and let
there be good for me even in the world to come. It is well known that Thou art All &ighty.
All-3ise and All 1enerous0
It is Sunnat to have a silver ring. &en are prohibited from wearing gold ring. 3earing iron.
steel or brass ring is makrooh for both men and women. Therefore according to Imam 2a"far-
e-Sadi 'a.s.(. The ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( used to wear a silver ring.
According to another tradition
the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( asked men not to wear an iron ring while praying and strictly
prohibited wearing of brass ring.
Dua No. 2
Whene#er one sits in gathering
According to Imam 2a"far-e-Sadi 'a.s.(
1od has asked the son of Adam to remember ,im in the gathering. which is a lot better than
his gathering.
In another tradition the Imam 'a.s.( has stated
The 1od has said that a person who remembered by ,im in the gathering of Angles.
According to Imam &uhammed )air 'a.s.(
A person who wants to give a full account and be rewarded on the Day of 2udgement. should
recite the following ayats 'verses( wherever he sits in a gathering.

In another he has stated that if a person on the top of great height recited/

8aa elaaha illal laaho wal laaho akbar.
Translation:
There is no 9reator e+cept Allah and ,e is Almighty.
Then all the things till the very low end of the earth will recite the same Kalma.

According to Imam &oosa Ka!im 'a.s.(
Seven things are unlucky for a traveller. 'i( the cawing of the crow on his right hand. 'ii( the
dog with his tail straight up. 'iii( the fo+ sitting with is face towards the tail. howling at the
sight of the traveller. 'iv( the deer which cuts the travellers way from the tight side and goes
off towards his left 'v( the screeching of an owl. 'vi( the arrival of an old woman with white
hair with shorn of ears- when one of these things comes before the traveller and he is beset
with doubts and fear on account of them he should recite. 'vii( the coming in front of a
donkey with shorn of ears- when one of these things comes before the traveller and he is
beset with doubts and fear on account of them he should recite.

a person who wishes to go on a #ourney should stand in the door of his house facing towards
the destination of #ourney and recite Alhamd and recite the following/

ballighnee wa balligh ma ma-e"ya be-balaaghekal hasanil #ameele.
Translation:
$ Allah0 Keep me and all the things with me safe and sound and let them reach the
destination safely.
The person who precedes on a #ourney in the above manner the Almighty 1od will be looking
after his welfare and of those and things who are with him. and he will reach safely his
destination.

)eside other talisman which ought to be kept while going on travel there is a talisman which
is stated to be in the scabbard of the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.("s sword. This is that talisman.

wa a<layhe adaro innaka a<laa kulle shay-in adeerun wa sallal laaho a<laa mohammadin
nabiyyehi wa aalehi wa sallama tasleeman kaseeran.
Translation:
In the name of Allah the )eneficent the &erciful. )y Allah0 )y Allah0 )y Allah0 $ the *irst
and =ternal King of Kings0 $ ,e whose personality e+ists from times eternal and for whom
there is no change or times eternal and for whom there is no change or deterioration 'fall(. I
beg of Thee 3ho is the Almighty 1od. enough for everything and 3ho holds everything
under ,is sway/ $ Allah on behalf of Thy 1reat name. >niueness and needlessness from
3hom no one is born and 3ho is born of no one and 3ho does not have a single partner.
look after me and protect me from the mischief of men. my enemies and their swords and put
a stop to all types of torture. 3hen 1od has surrounded them from all sides then where links
the danger. $ Allah do protect me from the danger who intend harming me. cover me with
avail as is Thy sacred veil which does not let the mischief of bad and mad people come near
Thee or be hurt by the swords. the iron and all those which ordinarily people are afraid of and
keep away from and all the difficulties and mischief of all these things which are well known
to Thee or be hurt by the swords. the iron and all those which ordinarily people are afraid and
keep away from. and all the difficulties and the mischief of all those things which are well
known to thee and on whom thou hast complete authority. ?o doubt Thy power encompasses
everything. Shower Thy blessing on Thy prophet and his dear and near ones and a greeting
which they have the right of.

the best care-taker of your family. who will look after them while your are travelling is. that

Translation:
?ot fearing to be overtaken. nor being afraid
The reporter of this tradition states that once he was going with a group to ,a#. A last a band
of wild Arab surrounded the group and attacked them fiercely but he had written this ayat on
the back of his horse and taking an oath on Almighty 1od. 3ho had made &uhammad
's.a.w.a.( ,is prophet and ,a!rat Ali 'a.s.( ,is Imam he reiterated that the Almighty 1od had
made the robbers blind to his presence and they did not incur him with any loss.
Dua No. 12
Dua and %ra-er at the ti.e of stor. in the
sea
The reporter of this tradition states that whenever there was a storm at sea he used to recite
the following prayers shown by Imam 2a"far-e-Sadi 'a.s.(/ it seemed that there was no storm
at all. as the raging sea would suddenly and certainly go clam".

Translation:
,e is Allah who sent down the book '4uran( and ,e guardeth the virtuous one.[2]
They have esteemed not Allah. as is ,is due/ 3hile the whole earth shall be in ,is grip on
the day of 2udgement and heavens rolled up 'shall be( in the right hand/ ,allowed is ,e and

moved. Allah will pardon all his sins even if these be as many as the foams of the sea.

the month of Shaban( of performing funeral prayer on a thousand martyrs.; The Angel
1ibraeel descended and said. :$ &ohammead 's.a.w.a.( I have brought for no other prophet.
It is whoever of you >mmat recites the following Dua once after &orning prayer or keep it
on his person. Allah the Al-&ighty declares on oath that ,e will grant the reciter the
following benefits
i( %rotection from death by an accident.
ii( Security from the uestioning of &unkar and ?akeer in the grave.
iii( 5elief from the darkness and narrowness of the grave.
iv( 9losing down on him the door of ,ell.
v( 1rant him ,is protection from disease.
vi( Keeping open for him all the right entrances to paradise.
vii( 1rant him ,is protection against the wrath of the rulers.

has no associate. Allah the $ne and we are '=+clusively( loyal to ,im. There is no deity but
Allah. ,e is $ne. ,e has no associate. Allah the $ne and ,im 'alone( do we worship. There
is no deity but Allah. &ohammed is the &essenger of Allah. 7Ali is the friend of Allah/
Allah"s blessing be on the best of ,is creation. the manifestation of ,is )enignity
&ohammad and his 'pure( progeny. all of them the pure the purified by thy &ercy. $ the

There is no god but Allah. the 1reat the clement- there is no god but Allah the 8ord of 'the
throne( of 1race/ and all praise is for Allah. the 8ord of the worlds- $ Allah I beseech thee
for all that time which is the cause of Thy &ercy. and that which ascertain Thy *orgiveness/
and the benefit of every virtue and safety from every sin/ $ 7Allah leave not any sin on me
but that @ou forgive it. and any affliction but that @ou remove it. and any illness but that @ou
heal it and any defect but @ou increase it and any fear but that @ou protect 'me( from it- and
any evil but that @ou repel it. and any of my need in which is Thy pleasure and which is

In the name of Allah the most )eneficent and &erciful. 1lory be to Allah/ all praise is due to
Allah/ there is no deity other than Allah/ Allah is the Supreme. There is no power and no
strength e+cept with Allah. the &ost 1reat. 1lory be to Allah at the Dusk and the dawns.
1lory be to Allah when ye enter evening and when ye enter the morning and all praise is due
to ,im in the heavens and the earth at the sun"s decline and when ye enter the noon.
,allowed is Thy 8ord. 7the 8ord of ma#esty for above from what they ascribe 'unto ,im(-
1lory be to the &aster of Kingdoms- 1lory be to the &aster of &a#esty and &ight/ 1lory be

%rotection with the Authority of Allah who is All %owerful over everything. I seek protection
with the 1race of Allah and I Seek protection with All-%revalent Allah from the evil of every
insolent tyrant and the despised Devil. =very Killer. thief and every one approaching 'to
harm(- and from the evil of poisonous 'animals(. 6ermin"s and those causing in#ury- and from
the evil of every animal. small or big. by night and by day- and from the evil of the
transgressor of Arabs and non-Arabs- and of loose-conduct from among them- and from the
evil of the transgressors from among the genii and men/ and from the evil of every animal
Thou takes by its fore-lock- indeed my 8ord is on the right path.

A man saw the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( many a time in his dreams. =very time he reuests the
,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( to advise him what to do so that he might leave this world with his

who was completely absorbed in the adoration of Allah to an unimaginable e+tend. $nce he
humbly asked Allah if there was any other of ,is creature who might be his eual in
worshipping ,im.
Allah revealed to him that there was a person on the earth whose adoration and glorification
of Allah e+celled him. The angle with the permission descended on the earth and say that
person glorified Allah in the following words after every prayer '?ama!(

Allah loves to be proclaimed Absolute $ne. and as ,e deserves it so and as it beloves ,im

Allah is the 1reatest0 like everything that declares Allah"s 1reatness. and in the way Allah
loves to be declared 1reat and as ,e deserves it so. and as it beloves ,im due to ,is distinct
&unificence and =+cellent 1lory. 1lory be to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. there is no god
but Allah. is the 1reatest. 'I repeatedly recite this( to the e+tent of the bounties ,e has
bestowed on me and everyone of ,is creations those who have been and those who are to be
till Day of 2udgement.
$ Allah0 I beseech Thee to shower thy blessing on &ohammed and 'pure( progeny of
&ohammed
And '$ Allah0( I beseech Thee to grant me the good I hope for and 'the good(. for which I
have not hoped for and 'due to my ignorance(- and I beseech Thy protection from the evil I
'wish( to keep away from. and 'the evil( I have not taken care of 'due to my ignorance(
Dua No. 24
Dua for reward of %aradise
Abu Tamama 'a.r.( relates that the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( said
whoever recites the last portion of Surah ,ashr 'CD/EE. EF G EH( at night and during the day
and dies the same day in that case Allah makes the paradise for him in cumbent
&ail )in @asar 'a.r.( relates that the %rophet 's.a.w.a.( said
3hoever recites thrice A"oo!e )illahe &inash Shaita-nir 5a#eem and then recites the last
three 6erses 'CD/ EE. EF G EH( of Suratul ,ashr. Allah appoints seventy thousand angles to
protect him from all troubles and sends blessing upon him and in case he dies he attains the
status of a &artyr. If he recites the above in the evening he will achieve the aforementioned
reward.

of Thy learned personalities. by the supplications of Thy pious persons. And by the
invocation of Thy need persons we beseech Thee for the increase in knowledge. health of the
body. increase in the life tenure. for Thy obedience. abundance in the sustenance. repentance
before death. ease at the time of death. forgiveness after death. the light in the grave.
redemption from the hell fire. admission in the paradise and rescue from all calamities of the
world and punishment of the ne+t world by the grace of &ohammad and his best. pure and
infallible progeny.

6erily. in the creations of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and day.
there are signs for men who possess wisdom. Those who remember Allah standing and sitting
and reclining on their sides and think 'seriously( in die creation of the heaven and the earth/

from the torment of the ',ell( fire. $ $ur 8ord0 3homsoever Thou causeth to enter the
',ell( fire. surely Thou hast put him to disgrace/ there is not. for the un#ust. any of the
helpers. $ $ur 8ord0 3e have indeed heard the voice of a crier '%rophet(. calling 'us( unto
faith. saying )elieve ye in your 8ord0 And we did believe. $ur 8ord0 Therefore *orgive us

forty-five thousand good actions. forty-five thousand of his sins will be e+punged from his
rank in paradise will be raised by forty-five thousand degrees and this Dua will serve as an
invincible fortress for him against mischievous and wicked rulers. The recitation of this Dua
will also save him from committing ma#or sins. Another source reports that the recitation
hereof the 4uran twelve times and that a beautiful house will be erected for him in %aradise.

maa laa taaata lanaa behi. wa<fo a<nnaa. waghfir lanaa. warhamnaa. anta mawlaanaa fan-
surnaa a<lal awmil kaafereen.
Translation:
Alif 8aam &im. This is the )ook. there is no doubt in it. 'being the word of 1od( 'it is( a
guidance for the pious. '$nes(. 3ho believe in the unseen. and establish the prayers and of
what 3e have provided them with. They give 'in the way of their 8ord(. And who believe in
that which hath been sent down unto thee '$ $ur %rophet &ohammad( and that which hath
been sent down 'unto the other %rophets( before thee. and of the hereafter they are sure.[11]
Allah is ,e besides 3hom there is no god. the =verliving. the Self-subsisting by 3hom all
subsist- slumber does not overtake ,im nor sleep- whatever is in the heavens and whatever is
in the earth is ,is- who is he that can intercede with ,im but by ,is permissionR ,e knows
what is before them and what is behind them. and they cannot comprehend anything out of
,is knowledge e+cept what ,e pleases. ,is knowledge e+tends over the heavens and the
earth. and the preservation of them both tires ,im not. and ,e is the &ost ,igh. the 1reat.
There is no compulsion in religion- truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error-
therefore. whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on
the firmest handle. which shall not break off. and Allah is ,earing. Knowing. Allah is the
guardian of those who believe. ,e brings them out of the darkness into the light- and 'as to(
those who disbelieve. their guardians are Shaitans who take them out of the light into the
darkness- they are the inmates of the fire. in it they shall abide.[12]
3hatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah"s- and whether you manifest
what is in your minds or hide it. Allah will call you to account according to it- then ,e will
forgive whom ,e pleases and chastise whom ,e pleases. and Allah has power over all things.
The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his 8ord and 'so do( the
believers- they all believe in Allah and ,is angels and ,is books and ,is apostles- 3e make
no difference between any of ,is apostles- and they say/ 3e hear and obey. our 8ord0 Thy
forgiveness 'do we crave(. and to Thee is the eventual course. Allah does not impose upon
any soul a duty but to the e+tent of its ability- for it is 'the benefit of( what it has earned and
upon it 'the evil of( what it has wrought/ $ur 8ord0 Do not punish us if we forget or make a
mistake- $ur 8ord0 do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us- $ur 8ord
do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear- and pardon us and grant
us protection and have mercy on us. Thou art our %atron. so help us against the unbelieving
people.[13]

Sometimes it so happens that something is lost or misplaced and then because one cannot
find it one gets perple+ed. In case something is lost or misplaced. and one has to search it
before mid-day. one should recite the following Dua thrice. and after each recitation Allah the

a person approached him and told the Imam that his wife was on the verge of death on
account of delivery. The Imam 'a.s.( asked him to go back immediately and read the

Allah has taken you out from your mother"s womb when you were uite ignorant and he
endowed you with the sense of hearing sight and determined for you the ways of thinking so

healthy and let him not suffer from poverty for Thou hast knowledge whereas we do not

$n that day they shall follow the summoner no crookedness 'shall be shown( unto him. and
low shall be the voice before the )eneficent '1od(. that thou shall. hear not aught but the
light footfall. $n that day shall avail not intercession 'of any( save that of( whom hath
permitted 1od and whose word ,e is pleased with. Knoweth ,e what is before them and
what is behind them. while they comprehend ,im in 'their( knowledge. And 'all( faces shall
be humbled before the ever 8iving. The Self Subsistent 1od. and indeed disappointed will be
he who beareth iniuity. And whosoever doth good deeds and he be a believer. he shall fear
not of 'the least( in#ustice 'unto him( nor of 'any( curtailment 'of his dues(.

give and dispraise those who refused. though 'indeed( Thou alone art responsible of all for
grant or refusal. verily Thou art all-powerful over everything.

Translation/
$ Allah0 )e merciful on me by making me obedient to thee and not to be disobedient till my
life time. )e merciful on me by not commanding me what is beyond my capacity. 1rant me
such virtuous conduct which makes Thee %leased with me. &ake my heart to preserve thy
book '4uran( as thou has taught me. 1rant me so that I may recite it in the manner which
makes Thee pleased with me. $ Allah0 )righten my eyes/ and e+pend for my breast with it-
and open my mind with it and free with my tongue/ and devote my body to it- and strengthen
me over it and help me over it because certainly there is no helper in this matter save thee.
There is no god e+cept Thee.

by Allah and the succour of Allah and the safe guard by Allah and the fortification by Allah
and safe guard by Allah and the pride of Allah and superintendence of Allah and the
splendour of Allah and the ma#esty of Allah and the perfection of Allah and the glory of Allah
and through :8aa elaaha illal laah &ohammadun 5usoolul laah.; 'i.e. there is no deity but
Allah. &uhammad. Allah"s blessings and peace be upon him and his holy posterity. is the

annal laaha ad ahaata be-kulle shay-in i"lmaa. allaahumma innee a-o"o!o beka min sharre
nafsee wa sharre kulle daabbatin anta aakhe!un be-naaseyatehaa inna rabbee a"laa seraatim
mustaeem.
Translation:
There is no god but Allah. I trust in ,im for ,e is the 8ord of the throne.[31] 3hatever ,e
wishes it happens and whatever ,e does not desire does not happen. I bear witness that
indeed Allah has power over everything and indeed his knowledge encompasses everything.
[32] $ my lord I seek :Thy refuge from the evil of myself and from the evil of every
creature of the earth who is under @our control and power in the way of my 8ord is the right

tawaa a"lal a"rshe yughshil laylan nahaara yatlobohu haseesawn wash-shamsa wal-amara
wan-no#ooma mosakh-kharaatin be-amrehi alaa lahul khalo wal amro tabaarakal laaho
rabbul a"alameen. >d-o"o rabbakum ta!arrroa"wn wa khufyatan innahu laa yohibbul
moa"tadeen. 3a laa tufsedoo fil ar!e ba"da islaahehaa wad-o"oho khawfawn wa tama-a"n
inna rahmatal laahe areebum menal mohseneen.
Translation:
In the name of Allah the )eneficent and the &erciful. 6erily your 8ord is Allah who created
the heavens and the earth in si+ days. then established ,imself upon the arsh 'throne(. ,e
throweth the veil of night over the day. which pursueth it incessantly. and the sun and the
moon and the star. made 'absolutely( subservient to his command- )e it known0 'That( ,is is
the creation and the command- )lessed is Allah the 8ord of the 3orlds. 9all ye on you 8ord
humbly and secretly verily loveth not Allah the transgressors. And make ye not mischief in
the earth after its reformation call ye on him fearing ,is wrath and ,oping 'for his mercy(
verily the &ercy of Allah is well-night unto those who do good.[34]

invocation to a person a youth from among whose kinsfolk has a deranged mind. The youth
regained his mental balance as a result of the recitation there of by his elders. The said
scholar also said that a man is rendered secure against sorcery by the recitation of this

mufseda a"malas saahereena wa mubtela kayde ahlil fasaade man kaadanee be-sehrin aw be-
!urrin aamedan aw ghayra a"amedin a-a"lamohu aw laa a-a"lamohu wa akhaafohu aw laa
akhaafohu fa-ta" min asbaabis samaawaate a"malahu hattaa tur#e-a"hu a"nnee ghayra
naafe!in wa laa !aarrin lee wa laa shaametin bee innee adra-o be-a"!amateka fee nohooril a-
a"daa-e fakun lee minhum modaa-fe-a"n ahsana modaa-fa-a"tin wa atammahaa yaa kareemo.
Translation:
$ Allah0 $ the 8ord of &oosa 'a.s.( who honoured him with ,is communion. who prevailed
with &oosa 'a.s.( and who retransformed it in to a serpent. after transforming it to its original
state who got the falsehood of the liars swallowed up who reduced to naught the craft of the
magician and $ Thou who nullified the mischief of the mischief-monger- grant me with
metaphysical whoever ve+es me with magic. or inflicts harm on me intentionally or
otherwise. whether I know about it or not. whether I am afraid of it or not. with heavenly
means cut off his action. till it be warded off from me without being e+ecuted. without being
harmful to me. and without having malevolent effect on me. Indeed. with Thy 1reatness. I
ward off my enemies- so '$ Allah(. @ou be my %rotector against them with the )est
%rotection with %erfection $ the )enevolent.
Dua No. 3,
Dua for &ure of all Diseases
,a!rat Ameerul &o"mineen Ali Ibne Talib 'a.s.( used to recite the following Dua for cure of
all diseases this can be recited at any time by a sick person. 5egular recitation of this Dua
will save from sickness and sins will be forgiven.

aloka min fa!leka ri!an halaalan tayyeban wa a-o"o!o beka min an a!lema aw u!lema wa a-
o"o!o beka min safatin khaasheratin wa yameenin kaa!ebatin.
Translation:
I stand witness that there is no 1od e+cept $ne who has no partner and I also stand witness to
&ohammed &ustafa 's.a.w.a.( being ,is servant and ,is %rophet $ Allah0 I beg @ou to give
me permissible and purified daily bread with our blessings- and seek shelter for myself doing
any cruelty on any one or anyone doing any cruelty with me and also seek refuge from trade
which incurs losses and false oaths.
3hen he will recite this prayer the angel will say. :There will be a revelation unto you. and
there is no one in the market today. whose share will be great that yours. @ou have been in
hurry to collect good deeds and to ignore bad deeds and now within a little while the rightful
and rewarding earning which 1od has meant for you is arriving.;

Translation:
3e have set a wall before them and another behind and have closed the gap from above. They
can think of nothing.[37] That thing cannot be lost whose protector is Allah. And if after this
they do not see in the right direction then say Allah is enough for me. Allah. there is no god
but ,e0 I rely on ,im and he is the 8ord of the Arsh-e-A!eem '4uran(

It has been narrated by Kaf"ami in his book named )aladul Ameen that the following is Dua

effective for all purposes. It can be recited at anytime of any great need. All legitimate desires
are fulfilled if regularly once a day is recited by any one. once a day.

falam yakhru# minka illaa elayka.salle a<laa mohammadin wa aalehi. wa#-a<l lee min amree
fara#an wa makhra#an. war-!unee min hayso ahtasebo wa min hayso laa ahtasebo. innaka
tar!oo man tashaaa-o be-ghayre hesaab.
Translation/
$ Allah0 I have been obedient to Thee in the matter most beloved to Thee and it is Thy
$neness and I have not been disobedient to Thee in the thing most hated by Thee and that is
infidelity. So *orgive me whatever 'I may have done( in between these two. $ Thou0 To
whom I run 'for protection(. afford me safety against that from which I have fled to Thee. $
Allah0 *orgive me the great uantity of my sins and accept the small uantity of my
obedience to Thee. $ my provision against all provisions. $ my ,ope and ob#ect of
confidence. $ my shelter and support. $ $ne. $ Singular $ 'Thou about whom 4uran Says(
Say/ ,e 1od is $ne 'Alone(. god the needless. ,e begetteth not. nor is ,e begotten. And
there is none like unto ,im. I beseech Thee by the right of those whom Thou hast chosen
from among Thy creatures and did not make anyone like them in Thy creation that Thou send
blessings on &uhammad and his descendants and deal with me as behooves Thee. $ Allah0 I
have beseeched Thee through the great $neness. The effulgent ualities of &uhammad and
the sublime uality of all through all that with which Thou has rendered please before thy
creatures and through the name which Thou has concealed from thy creatures so that it has
not come out from Thee save towards Thee that Thou send blessings on &uhammad and his
descendants and grant me relief and outlet in my affairs. and allow me livelihood from. where
I e+pect and from where I don"t e+pect. 6erily Thou giveth livelihood anyone Thou pleasest
without accounting.

$ Allah0 the 8ord of the seven heavens and whatever is between them the 8ord of the 1reat
throne- the 8ord of 2ibraeel. &eekaeel and Israfeel- the lord of the 1reat 4uran- and the 8ord
of &uhammad the seal of the %rophets. I beseech Thee through ,im by whose command the
gathering is dispersed. and the scattered are gathered- the living are provided subsistence. the
number of sand particles is counted. the weight of the mountains 'is known( and the uantity
of the $cean water 'is comprehended(.
5ecite Durood and humbly supplicate before Almighty- InshaAllah your desire will be surely
fulfilled

Ameerul &omineen 'a.s.( says that the recitation of Surah ?isa '9hap. H( every *riday will
save the reciter from the suee!e of the grave.

To )e re&ited at the Ti.e of Death
It is stated from the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( that he visited one of his Ansars at the time when
he was in the throws of death and asked him what was he undergoing. The Ansar stated that
he was pleading 1od for kindness and was afraid of his sins. Then the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.(
stated that
if a person is undergoing these feeling at the time of death. then it is definite that 1od will
reward his hopes and save him from those things which he afraid of.
In another tradition is it is stated that the ,oly %rophet 's.a.w.a.( visited a dying person and
asked him to recite the following/

Translation:

$ Allah0 %ardon my sins which are many. accept my prayers which are very little.

A reliable tradition from Imam &uhammad )air 'a.s.( stated that if you see anyone nearing

laahe rabbis samaawaatis sab-e" wa rabbil ara!eenas sab-e" wa maa feehinna wa maa
baynahunna wa rabbil a"rshil a"!eem wal-hamdo lillaahe rabbil a"alameen.
Translation:
In the name of Allah the )eneficent the &erciful. =+cept Allah. the 1enerous and %atient.
there is no 8ord e+cept the Almighty and All wise Allah. there is no lord. %ure is that Allah
3ho is the 9reator of the seven heavens and seven earths and all that is in them and between
them. ,e is due to that 1od who is the 8ord of all the creation.

deeds of this dead body but you know much more about its acts and deeds.
Then 1od will answer. :I have accepted your evidence and have forgiven all those sins of his
which you were not aware of and of which I had knowledge.;

Imam ,usain 'a.s.( says whoever enter a graveyard says as follows. Allah will write in his
record 7goodness" euivalent to the number of creation from the period of ,a!rat Adam 'a.s.(
to the occurrence of 5esurrection.

$ Allah0 5eform 'the condition"s of( your servant and caliph in the same way as you have
reformed 'the condition"s of( @our &essengers and %rophets. And surround him with @our
angles and assist him with the ,oly Spirit from @our side. %ut up protectors for him. from the
front as well as behind. guarding him from ail evils. 9onvert his apprehensions into security
'as( he worships only @ou and does not associate anybody with @ou. Do not let any of @our
creatures overpower @our vicegerent. %ermit him to fight against @our enemies and his
enemies and include me among his helpers. Surely @ou %ossess power over everything.
