Christs suffering and death ....
God !ord of hea"en and earth #ill gi"e you a "isi$le sign to
testify of %is &o#er and glory .... 'his has $een &reordained
sin(e eternity and #ill $e re"ealed so o$"iously that you #ill
mar"el at this e)&ression of di"ine omni&oten(e and lo"e.
*nsu$stantial though this little (loud in the sky may a&&ear+ it
ne"ertheless har$ours a life (om&ara$le to that (om&rising your
$eing. ,nd God #ill guide this life in a((ordan(e #ith %is #ill too
and #ill therefore arrange this cloud-formation with wise
intention in such a way that the Lords suffering and death
can be easily recognised, and you will identify the One on
the cross Whom the world wants to deny .... you #ill either
$e sei-ed $y horror or shout #ith .oy de&ending on #hether you
re.e(t %im or har$our %im in your heart.
'he latter #ill &ause in &rayer #hilst the former $eing distant
from /esus Christ #ill #ant to forget this image. ,nd this is #hat
the !ord #ants .... %e #ants to gi"e human $eings a sign of %is
mer(y and lo"e to assist their faith .... to either resurre(t faith in
/esus Christ as 0a"iour of the #orld if they ha"e lost it or to
(ause the same to gro# into unyielding strength.
,nd humanity #ill yet again try to dis&ro"e this #onder of di"ine
lo"e+ it #ill inter&ret it as an a&&earan(e formed $y (han(e and
#ithout meaning .... and #ill #ant to dismiss di"ine &ro"iden(e.
1et defying all human e)&lanation the formation in the sky
will remain unchanged for the entire world to view .... ,nd
thus e"en the &eo&le #hose o&inion &rohi$its any $elief in
mysti(al &henomena #ill $e(ome thoughtful.
'he time has (ome #hen humanity (an $e offered unusual
a&&earan(es #ithout (oer(ion into faith $e(ause humanitys
thinking has $e(ome so dis&assionate that they #ill e)&lain e"ery
a&&earan(e rationally i.e. intelle(tually no matter ho# (urious it
is denying all s&iritual inter(ession $y unkno#n &o#ers ....
,nd thus humanitys free #ill is no longer endangered $y su(h
a&&earan(es .... indeed s(ientifi( e)&lanations are far more
a((e&ta$le than a statement that the formation is a sign from
a$o"e.
,nd again only those #ho as&ire to#ards God and are li"ing in
lo"e #ill re(ognise this "isi$le a(t of the eternal Deity+ and
therefore on(e again the gra(e of di"ine lo"e #ill $e &resented
to &eo&le #hi(h only fe# #ill re(ognise as su(h.
'he !ord #ill $riefly sto& natural la# and &re(isely this should
make the s(ientist think
$ut #hen the desire to re(ognise &ure truth is a$sent e"en the
stars (an lea"e their usual &ath and the sun lose its shine it
#ould not $end the hardened #ill of the human $eing he #ould
sim&ly try harder to as(ertain the la#s of nature and thus
ultimately de"iate further still from true kno#ledge.
%en(e this sign e)traordinary as it may $e #ill indeed $e a
dire(t gift of gra(e $ut only for someone #hose heart re(ognises
the #onder of the a&&earan(e or starts to think a$out it.
%o#e"er someone #ho makes no use of this gift of gra(e #ho
(oldly "ie#s this &henomenon in the sky #ithout any attem&t to
dra# his (on(lusions #ill merely regard it as $lind (han(e of an
e)(e&tional nature. %is heart is not yet (om&assionate and
therefore not yet re(e&ti"e for dee&er #isdom either ....
