To provide technical HR support to IR Offices in

KEY OBJECTIVES
To provide a 'ualit( personnel service to staff as )ell as supporting the Countr(
Management Team #CMT% in carr(ing out the da( to da( duties )ithin the
office, ensuring that the principals and practices of Islamic Relief *orld)ide
are maintained+
KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
,+ Through planned recruitment, assisting the Coordinator !inance and HR
in ensuring that the organisation emplo(s the right balance of staff in
terms of s-ills and e.perience in order to achieve the organisation/s
ob0ectives+
$+ To participate in staff recruitment )ithin the organisation1 this includes
preparing advertisements, chec-ing application forms, initial short
listing of candidates, assisting departments in developing 0ob
descriptions and preparing intervie)s+
2+ 3nder the guidance of the Coordinator !inance and HR, provide
support and guidance to all divisions and offices on personnel related
issues including emplo(ment la) advice, grievances and disciplinar(
matters+
4+ To participate in the planning and decision ma-ing process related to
personnel matters+
5+ 6ssist the Countr( Management Team #CMT% and Coordinator !inance
and HR in developing, maintaining and updating HR policies and
procedures, )hilst )or-ing closel( )ith all departments to ensure line
managers understand and implement the policies and procedures
correctl(+
7+ To promote e'ualit( and diversit( as part of the culture of the
organisation+
8+ To liaise )ith a )ide range of organisations involved in areas such as
race relations, disabilit(, gender and health and safet(+
9+ 6ssist in the 0ob evaluation process and salar( revie)s+

date, correct and -ept confidential, archiving data )here necessar(+

,2+To assist the Coordinator !inance and HR in preparing summar( of staff

performance appraisals, grievances, disciplinar( etc+
