want to make as I will

can pick the hot pockets
Bazzill Basics Cardstock you need, what you
Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly Crafting Kit want to fill them with and do a whole batch in one go!
Michelle’s Stash Alcohol inks, glitter, fusible fibers, 2. So I will start with The Angels. For the body make a template from card
permanent ink, permanent pen, of an 8’’ diameter semi circle with an extra 1/8 th of the circle added
(this is so when it is made into a cone you have the 1/8 th of the circle as
colored pencils, art wire, sequins,
the overlap for sticking) This template will also come in handy for some
cotton wool, Strong wet glue, of the other decorations later! Make a wings template to fit within the

tape, thin foam tape and thin 3. The Angels use Hot pockets # 4021 (5’’x7’’) for the bodies. Fill as many
organza ribbon. hot pockets as you want angels with white fusible fibers, spreading
them out within the pocket. The wings use hot pockets # 4010 (3’’x5’’)

4. Using the body template draw round it on the laminate with a
permanent pen and cut out.
5. Apply a line of strong wet glue along the 1/8 th of the circle section,
roll the laminate round and glue in place, making the bottom even
and holding the join until the glue is set.
6. Cut a circle of white Bazzill for the head 1 ½’’ in diameter, color
with flesh and pink pencils and make features with a permanent
pen. Cut a length of art wire, attach to the back of the head with
some masking tape about half way down, make a loop for
threading with ribbon then continue it into a halo shape. Draw
round the head onto some yellow Bazzill cardstock to make the
hair at the back and a small fringe for the front. Snip into the
yellow card and curl then stick to the front and back of the face.
Leave a little gap at the bottom of the back of the hair to allow the
head to sit on top of the cone so the face is one side, hair the
other, attached with a blob of strong wet glue.
7. Draw round the wings template on the yellow, glittered laminate
and cut out. Attach to the back of the body with a blob of strong
wet adhesive.
8. Decorate the bottom of the body with lace or ribbon. Using some
patterned paper from the Cosmo Cricket jolly by golly kit cut some
arms and attach with glue. If you want to hang them, thread the
small loop you made in the art wire with some organza ribbon.
That completes your choir of angels!
9. The Christmas trees; These are so easy! Make 3 templates of semi
circles plus 1/8 th of the circle (see template instructions for angels

above) 1@ 8 ¾’’ 1@ 8’’ and 1@6 ¾’’. The larger template fits
into a # 4040 Hot pocket and the other 2 fit into #4021 hot
pockets. Fill the Hot Pockets with green fusible fibers,
spreading it out within the pocket and sprinkle the surface
with sequins then laminate.
10.Draw round the templates on the relevant sized laminates
with a permanent pen and cut out.
11.Roll the cones round and stick together with strong wet all
purpose glue. That’s it your Christmas forest is created!
12.Father Christmas; For this cute Santa make a template of a
semi circle plus 1/8 th of a circle (as above!) 8’’ in diameter.
Santa needs a # 4021 Hot Pocket. Fill it with red alcohol ink
and a sprinkle of red glitter then laminate.
13.Draw round the template with a permanent pen and cut
out. Roll the laminate round into a cone and with wet glue
stick it together.
14.Cut a small rectangle of white Bazzill for Santa’s face, color
with pencils and add features, attach to the cone with wet
glue.
15.Put a line of wet glue round the bottom of the cone, in a
triangle under the face, in a ring around the top of the face
and in a blob on top. Stick cotton wool into all these places
and voila Santa is good to go!
16.Baubles; Super simple, super effective! Make a template of
a circle 3 1/8th ‘’ in diameter. The baubles use #4025 Hot
pockets, 1 for each bauble. Fill the hot pockets with different
color alcohol inks and a sprinkling of glitter then laminate.

17.Draw round the bauble template twice on each laminate and cut
out. Put them together and cut a line through both layers to the
centre of the circle. These then simply slot together to make the
3d shape.
18.Pierce a hole in the top and thread with some organza ribbon to
hang and admire your Christmas baubles.
19.Stars; Using # 4040 Hot Pocket make a star template that will fit
within it 4 times.
20.Stamp the inside of the pocket with permanent ink and a texture
stamp then sprinkle with gold glitter and laminate.
21.Draw round your template 4 times on the laminate and cut out.
Cut 1 star to half way from the top and one halfway from the
bottom then slot together to make a 3D star. Pierce a hole in the
top and thread with organza ribbon to hang and admire your
pretty stars.
22.Stocking; Using Hot pocket # 4025 as a guide make a stocking
template that will fit side by side (one upside down, one the right
way round)
23.Fill the 6’’x6’’ Hot pocket with red alcohol ink and a sprinkle of red
glitter then laminate.
24.Draw round the template twice and cut out. Stick the 2 stockings
together with a thin line of wet glue around the outside edges.
This way you create a pocket that could be filled with sweet treats.
25.From some of the patterned paper from the Cosmo cricket kit cut a
toe and a heel for your stocking and glue to the front and back.
26.Pierce a hole in the top right hand corner, thread with organza
ribbon, hang and fill with some treats.

27.Snowman snow globe; and finally I love this cute Cosmo
Cricket snowman suspended in laminated glittery loveliness.
Make a circle template 4’’ in diameter, take a 4021 Hot
Pocket and fill with a fine sprinkle of white glitter, laminate.
28.Cut 2 circles from the laminate using the template.
29.Cut the snowman from one of the word strips in the Cosmo
Cricket Jolly by Golly crafting kit, pierce a hole in the top of
him and thread with organza ribbon.
30.Following the outline of one of the circles put a line of thin
foam tape round it, Position the snowman within the circle,
sticking the ribbon to the foam tape and extending out of
the circle then stick the other laminated circle on top.
31.From some of the patterned paper in the Cosmo Cricket kit
and using the circular template make a scalloped frame to
cover the width of the foam tape, cut two at the same time
to cover the front and back of the laminate. Stick in place.
32.Hang the ‘snow globe’ and enjoy your cute snowman
dancing in his glittery home.
33.So now the choice is yours, you know what each decoration
needs, so, decide what you want to make. Get your hot
pockets out, fire up the # 3020 hot laminator and get to
playing and having fun making your own unique Christmas
decorations. And you don’t have to just hang them as
individual decorations, what about adding them into your
Christmas garlands along the fireplace or along the stairs
banisters! Thanks for playing and Happy Christmas!
