(6) Sinopsis kursus/ Course synopsis:
This course presents the study of the mechanics of water. In fluid mechanics, other fluids, including oil and gasses are studied. The student will be taught about properties of fluids, fluid static and kinematics, Bernoullis equation, momentum equation, analysis of flow in open channel and pipeline system. This course will also cover the transportation and metering of fluids such as pumps and turbines. At the end of the course, students should be able to apply the theory to solve problem related to flow of fluids.
