India and Pakistan have a complex relationship defined by both conflict and cooperation. While the two countries have fought several wars over the disputed region of Kashmir, their citizens also share cultural similarities. On a people-to-people level, there is intimacy as artists and public figures move between the two countries, but disputes over Kashmir have strained relations at the government level. However, there are also examples of the countries providing humanitarian aid to each other during crises, demonstrating the potential for partnership if political issues can be resolved.

When one talk about relations between India and Pakistan, we all have our own beliefs about this matter. Either it is positive or negative. And all of us will give our opinion about this. The irony is that, they all are right about their opinion at their place, but as a good citizen of our country we must have positive belief on this matter. In fact, India and Pakistan are not two countries; they are two fronts of a river. When the citizens of both the country give their attention in the water of the river at that time we can use properly that water. The main reason of conflicts between the two countries is Kashmir. India has Kashmir, and Pakistan wants Kashmir. Because of this reason India fought with Pakistan 2-3 times. Yes, all the wars were won by India. But by doing war we cant develop our relations, and also cant gain anything. There are some rules made by our leaders for Line of Control (LOC). But Pakistan does not follow these rules and they frequently intrude at border and create problems. For this, the citizens of India have rage on Pakistani politicians and army. Sometimes Pakistani army crosses the border and spread terrorism in the villages which are near the border. Pakistan must develop such kind of maturity about following these types of rules. On a positive note, India and Pakistan are same in the subject of film industry. Many Pakistani artists come at India to give proper platform to their art. Many actors and actresses have played roles in bollywood films. Ali Zafar , Afzal Khan, Javed Sheikh, Mahhomad Ali, Zeba Bakhtiyar ,Veena Malik, Meera, etc. Many songs of Pakistani singers are featured in bollywood film Like Nursat Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Khan Ali, Atif Aslam, Noor Jahan, Abida Parveen. On the matter of art, we can say that they are Pakistani but by the love of Indians they are known as Indians. At the time of partition, India helped Pakistan with Rs 65 cr. Pakistan also helped India at the time of earth-quake in Gujarat with 2000 blankets, and more. In fact, Pakistan was the first helper among all the countries. So we can say that people of India and Pakistan have intimacy but at time of matter of Kashmir, Pakistani government is ignoring this. In Guajarati there is a saying that sau no saath sau no vikas. (Development of all, with all). Let us hope that both the nations rise above the Kashmir issue and grow together with the help and support of each other.
