The document provides instructions for creating a spreadsheet to analyze and compare meal pricing data from four restaurants. It asks the user to:
1) Enter pricing data for chicken burgers, fries, and smoothies from each restaurant into a table.
2) Perform calculations on the data to determine averages, highest/lowest prices, total costs per person and for a family of four at each restaurant.
3) Add conditional formatting and charts to visualize the data, including a pie chart comparing total costs per person and a clustered column chart comparing item prices across restaurants.

3. Perform the following calculation: a. Calculate the average, highest and lowest price for each item by using the appropriate formulas. b. Calculate the Total Cost per person for the meal of each restaurant. c. Calculate the Total Cost for a family of four for the meal of each restaurant. d. Calculate what the total cost would be for all three items if each restaurant raised its prices by 10%. e. In the Result column, use the IF function to indicate whether the cost for a family of four would be Too High if the total cost with the increase is $25 or more or Acceptable if below $25.
4. Apply the currency format to the prices.
5. Use conditional formatting to a. Distinguish the highest and lowest price for each item. Highest price and lowest price should be highlighted by different colours. b. Display the text Too High in red and bold.
6. Name this worksheet Restaurant Pricing.
7. Create the charts below that illustrate the restaurant data requested for each chart. Be sure that the data is clearly labeled and easy to understand. Each chart should have a title and a legend.
a. Create a pie chart in a new worksheet with a 3D visual effect that shows the total cost per person at each restaurant (all four restaurants should be represented in one pie chart). The dollar and percentage values should also be shown. Name this sheet, Pie Chart.
b. Create a clustered bar chart with a 3D visual effect that compares the prices of all items at each restaurant. The dollar values should be shown on the chart. Name this sheet, Column Chart.
