Mississippi to Peru

-Who are we?

We are servants of the Living God. We are sinners
saved by grace. We are the Lewis family. Micah,
Juliana, Jonathan, Caroline, Porter, and baby.
We are currently living in Ocean Springs, MS.
Micah is working as a residential and commercial
contractor. Juliana is home schooling and taking
care of our three wonderful children. We are
expecting another son in January. God is calling
us to use our gifts and talents to serve him in Peru.

-Where are we going?

We will be living in Trujillo,
Peru. Trujillo is a coastal city
with a population of about 1
million people. Despite its size,
Trujillo is a city in great need.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the
only thing that can transform the
injustice, corruption, and poverty
in Northern Peru and bring peace.
Only Christ can bring restoration
and healing to His world.

-Who are we going with?

Peru Mission is a church-planting organization that works alongside

reformed churches in Northern Peru to build Christ-centered communities.
Their desire is to see the gospel of Jesus Christ transform these
communities through pastoral ministry, relief work, theological and
leadership training, economic development, and medical ministry.

 -What are we doing?
Diaconal Ministry.
Peru Mission has been blessed by the Lord in recent years and is
growing tremendously. We will be going to assist the team in
several areas.
1. Construction coordination and administration- working
with local churches and local builders and architects to design,
coordinate, and build the buildings for their ministries.
2. Plan and Lead short-term teams in construction projects-
designing specific projects in order to assist churches and church
members from the US to participate in the growth of the kingdom of
God in Peru.
3. Assist in Parish Woodshop.

-What do we need?
1. Prayer. We are fully aware that all of our efforts are in vain. Pray that God would use us for His
will and in His way, not our own. Pray that God would raise up other believers to lift us to Him in
prayer. Pray that we would accept God’s will for our lives and trust Him to provide and protect. Pray
for our family in work, play, and worship. Pray that we would be prepared for the challenges of serving
God in Peru. Pray for wisdom , persistence, and patience as we prepare to move and learn a new
language, culture, and lifestyle.
2. Partners. We need people to invest in us and in the kingdom of
God in Peru. The financial challenge is great but we trust that the Lord
will provide. Please consider sending us to serve God in Peru. If you
