As a percentage this is roughly 45% from the total traffic. If we think the light vehicles will not affect much it may not be accurate since we should be thinking of the integrated effect that would create when the road is occupied with more vehicles. And the reason for the heavy trucks may be the ongoing small construction works nearby. (As most of the heavy trucks were truck mixers.) Looking at busses, the number of busses travelling alone seems to be in accordance with the demand. (According to the time.) The collected data depicts that the area is a trip generating zone (Kelaniya area) since the traffic accommodates more for the daily travelling of the people. (schooling etc.)
