What do the two goats represent? What is the shadow
picture?

One of the goats is sent into the wilderness (v.10).
Why? What does it mean?
What about the cloud that appears over the Mercy
seat? (v.2) What are some other places in scripture
where Yahweh appears to his people in a cloud?

Section 2: Read Lev. 16: 11-16
The blood of the bull is sprinkled onto mercy seat/lid
of atonement (v14).What does that mean?
One of the goats is slain (v 15) and blood is placed on
mercy seat. What does that mean? What is the shadow
picture?
What is atonement? (v.16)What does that mean?
What is uncleaness mean (v.16)?
What is our uncleaness today?

Azazel/scapegoat) and confesses the
iniquities/crookednesses of the children of Israel, puts
it on the head of the goat, then sends it away. (v.21)

What does it mean to repent?
Repent = Teshuva
Acknowledge the sin (Psalm 32:5)
Agree with Yahweh that it is wrong
Confess it to Him (Numbers 5: 5-6)
Change your mind, and your actions.
Resolve not to do that sin again. Course correction

Confession of sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse of
all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
