Summary of observations recorded at 0830 hrs: The withdrawal line of Southwest monsoon continues to pass through Lat. 28N / Long. 82E, Kheri, Kanpur, Nowgong,
Khandwa, Malegaon, Dahanu, Lat. 20N / Long. 70E and Lat. 20N / Long.60E. Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Gulf of Siam and neighbourhood, a low
pressure area has formed over Tenasserim coast and adjoining Andaman Sea. Associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid tropospheric levels. System would become a well
marked low pressure area during next 24 hours concentrate into a depression subsequently. The trough in the lower level easterlies over Andaman Sea and neighbourhood has
merged with the above low pressure area. The cyclonic circulation over Odisha and neighbourhood now lies over westcentral Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh - south
Odisha coasts and extends between 1.5 & 5.8 kms a.s.l. The cyclonic circulation between 1.5 & 4.5 kms a.s.l. over Sri Lanka and neighbourhood now lies over Lakshadweep area
and neighbourhood. A cyclonic circulation extending upto 0.9 km a.s.l. lies over Vidarbha and neighbourhood. A western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation extending upto 3.1
kms a.s.l. lies over north Pakistan and neighbourhood. System would move eastnortheastwards. The cyclonic circulation over northwest Rajasthan and neighbourhood and other
over Tripura and neighbourhood have become less marked.
In the regions from where the southwest Monsoon has withdrawn:
-day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Haryana, in some parts of Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch and of Madhya Maharashtra and were
above normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and of Jammu & Kashmir and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the
regions.
-night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Punjab and of Jammu & Kashmir; appreciably above normal in some parts of Uttarakhand.
East Rajasthan and of west Madhya Pradesh and were above normal in some parts west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and of Gujarat State. They were normal over
the rest of the regions.
The southwest Monsoon has been active over coastal & south interior Karnataka. It has been subdued over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland-
Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha,
Telangana and Rayalaseema.
