README ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction With a single download and in a single installation session, the Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* OS provides you w ith performance benefits of the Intel(R) Cluster Tools, Intel(R) Advisor XE, Intel(R) C++ Compiler, Intel(R) Fortran Compiler, Intel(R) Inspector XE, Intel(R) Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel(R) IPP), Intel(R) Threading Building Blocks (Intel(R) TBB), Intel(R) VTune(TM) Amplifier XE for distributed computing applications running on Intel(R) processors in the Linux* OS environment. Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition provides a software tools environment for hybrid parallel programming (message passing and threading). Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition software compone nts consist of: 1) Intel(R) C++ Compiler XE 15.0 2) Intel(R) Fortran Compiler XE 15.0 3) GNU* Project Debugger (GDB*) 7.7 4) Intel(R) Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) 8.2 5) Intel(R) Threading Building Blocks (TBB) 4.3 6) Intel(R) Math Kernel Library (MKL) 11.2 7) Intel(R) MPI Library 5.0 Update 1 8) Intel(R) Trace Analyzer and Collector 9.0 Update 1 9) Intel(R) MPI Benchmarks 4.0 10) Intel(R) Advisor XE 2015 11) Intel(R) Inspector XE 2015 12) Intel(R) VTune(TM) Amplifier XE 2015 For Bourne* Shell on Linux* OS, once the Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Clu ster Edition environment variables referenced within the "psxevars.sh" file have been sourced via a .bashrc file, for a given Bourne* Shell login session, you can simply type: . psxevars.sh ia32 This command creates IA-32 executables. Alternatively, to restore the default Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition environment variable settings so as to build executables with Intel(R) 64 address extensions, within t he Bourne* Shell login session, type: . psxevars.sh intel64 NOTE: The full path to psxevars.sh can be omitted once it has been sourced in the .bashrc file. The "User Checklist" topic of the Installation Guide provides details on setting up psxevars.sh within Bourne* Shell.
