Policy Guidelines
1. The minimum fee is the fee recommended by the Malaysian Dental Association for the practice of safe and proper dentistry without compromising on quality of dental care.
2. It is impractical to set a fee across the board for a dental procedure because of variables involved. Dental practitioners may charge a higher fee but are advised to inform patient before commencing treatment and are duty bound to observe
prevailing professional ethical considerations.
3. The treatment procedures listed are by no means exhaustive and any treatment procedure not listed in this Scale of Fee is by no means inappropriate.
4. The classifcation of simple or complex cases is dependent on the technical difculty, site, local factor, access, age, health factor and any other factor which may infuence the management as well as time taken to complete the procedure.
