This is an alternative rating system for pitcher cards in the Statis Pro baseball game.

It was
invented by David C. LeSueur, and presented by him in ll!Star "eplay #I$m not sure what issue%.
This system was used by &ames 'arnes, the game$s creator, to produce the pitchers in the ()
and (* season sets. This is not meant to infringe on any copyrights, but to inform those who may
be interested of its e+istence. I$m not going to reproduce the article in its entirety, ,ust the steps

Step one3 Calculate the average number of hits, <$s, and w$s on the average batter in the league.
#Ta<e the league totals and create a standard SP hitter card.% Example3 in the $1( L, it$s 7) hits,
9 <$s, and 8 w$s.
Step two3 Calculate the constant differences which represent how many hits, <$s, or w$s are
coming from the batter cards #which will be subtracted from the pitcher cards%. Ta<e the averages
for your league that you calculated in step one and multiply each by the following P' factors3

Create a table for each P'. These numbers will be used for every pitcher in the league.

Step three3 Calculate the total pitcher results for the season, or T4T. T4T = 'atters faced pitcher

unavailable, you will have to plug in some generic numbers based on innings pitched, wal<
