THE C WORD

The C word is a word many fear they may hear coming from the lips of their
doctor. "Im sorry, but you have cancer." Cancer is the number one cause of death
in America and has been for about five years now. Pretty much everyone is
touched by it in some way.
Amy recently got test results back which show that her body is still producing
cancer. When we started this journey almost eight years ago, God gave us peace
about treating her using non-traditional, alternative methods. She will be starting a
new treatment today, using Salicinium. She will receive it via IV for 15 days. After
that she will receive the oral form for 6 or more months depending on how she
responds to it.
Salicinium is an alternative to chemo. Very simply explained, it will break through
the cancer cell wall and allow the immune system to kill off the bad cell. Only the
bad cells are being killed, not the good ones.
We are thankful for her doctor. She practiced traditional medicine for many years,
then went back to school and earned her degree in the naturopathic field. She has
a lot of experience, listens, and is very compassionate. She has been an answer to
prayer.
In closing, for me, the C word is curse. We must accept that when sin entered
the world it brought with it a curse which flushes itself out in many ways, and
affects us all differently. We get encouragement from the words found in Psalm
145:3, Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is
unsearchable. Our God is greater than any disease or issue we may face in life,
and He wants us to come to Him for the strength, and help only He can offer.
Praise God that when our path is hard we can ask our heavenly Father for the
supernatural enabling to travel that path, and do so for His glory!
Please pray for our family as we continue this journey. Pray for our girls. In some
ways, it can be harder for the family members of the person who is sick. Pray that
they will be able to focus on their school work. Pray for safety as Amy travels back
and forth. It is an hour drive each way, and the treatment can take up to 2 hours.
Pray for strength as she goes to work after her treatments. And please pray that
people will see Christ in us.



DORITOS CRASH THE
SUPER BOWL CONTEST

This year we hope to enter 3 more. The
first one is called Science
Project. It's already on the Doritos
website and you can view it by clicking
the picture below. On January
5th Doritos will reveal their ten (10)
favorites. Thats when the voting begins.
Until then, the number of views an ad
gets will bring attention to it. So we hope
you'll watch ours, laugh out loud, and

Why Do I Enter This
Contest?
1. Its fun! I love the process of
developing and producing a story thats
only 30 second long.
2. The grand prize will allow me to be
closer to Amy and for us to concentrate
on our mission of proclaiming the gospel
through well-written, acted out, and
produced, film and media.
3. This contest is not won by chance.
Doritos is looking for the ten best ads.
The world will then vote on their
favorite from that selection. The ad with
the most votes in the end is named the
grand prize winner. Doritos will then
choose the 1st place winner from the
remaining nine (9).


VAPOR We were unable to raise the $2,000
through kickstarter.com needed to produce this
short film. But we will not give up! Vapor is a
very sobering story taken from the truths found
in James 4:14. The gospel is clearly presented
in the script. We believe it will one day be a
wonderful witnessing tool, just as paper tracts
have been for the last 100 years. I do have
one cool story that has come from this effort so
far. There's a young girl where I work who is
interested in film production also. I thought she
might be a good fit for the lead female role. As
far as I know, shes not a Christian. Death is no
stranger to her. She lost two friends last year.
She agreed to read the script so I sent it to her.
The next time I saw her she went on and on
about how the story touched her deeply. She
said, I hope you dont mind, but this story is
so good, I shared it with a couple of friends.
Im thinking, Mind? Are you kidding?
Thats awesome!" Two more people that I dont
even know got to hear
the gospel just by reading a script for a film
that has not even been made yet. I saw her

again about three weeks later and she
brought it up again about how taken back
she was by that Vapor script. She said, I
really hope you get to make that film.
Well, we do too. Pray for this effort. If we
were to get the funding now, it probably
wouldnt be until spring before we could
