Each kg of Tylomix contains: 250 gram of Tylosin phosphate Mechanism of Action: Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic effect (inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial proteins) against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative microorganisms. Tylosin battles Enterobacteriaceae E. coli, Salmonella spp., through anti-adhesive activity. By hindering adhesion on the intestinal vili, penetration through the intestinal mucous membrane cannot occur, as a result, their colonizations phase is impeded as well. Tylosin also acts against spirochete and some other large viruses. TARGET SPECIES: Poultry INDICATIONS: Control, prevention and treatment of infections caused by tylosin-sensitive pathogenic microorganisms.
