Greetings from SAEINDIA
SAEINDIA is happy to bring yet another dynamic event for its student members called CAREER START.
Career Start is a platform developed for young automotive engineers to fulfil their dreams of getting placed
into reputed automobile companies. The main objectives of this event are
o
Providing an opportunity for the students to have a sustainable career'
.
Align the students and faculty towards the need of industry'
o Providing an opportunity to the industry to reach out to employable and skilled engineering
students
Career start is. a two stage process. In the first stage student should appear for a written exam called as
SEAT'13 (SAEINDIA Engineering Aptitude Test). The shortlisted students should appear for group
discussion and personal interview based on the company.
Eligibility criteria:
o
Students inthe final year oftheir 4yeat degree program
o Students from EEEiECEAvlechanicril/Automobile /production or industrial engineering disciplines
are eligible
o
It is mandatory for Students to be a member of SAEINDIA to register for this program' For
membership registrations follow the link provided http://www.saeindia.org/register/student/ .
o
Students should not have any Backlogs in university examinations.
Registration Process:
Student members satisfying the above criteria are eligible to appear in SEAT'13.
Career Start application form should be filled. For application form follow the link

DD for Rs.300 should be drawn in favour of "SAE INDIA-EEB", Payable at Chennai.
Exam Date: SEAT'13 is schedule to happen on 6th November 2013 the timing will be informed shortly.
