around individual guests, providing them with a tranquil hideaway. Offering sea view accommodation,
innovative dining options and Spa facilities, the 34-room Casa del Mar is the perfect oasis for couples
looking for a private and peaceful retreat.

From its Mediterranean architecture to its cosy and aesthetically pleasing interior, Casa del Mar is a
highly individualised property. At Casa del Mar, one can indulge in the personalised yet unobtrusive
service designed specially to pamper the individual.

Guests will be in for a real gastronomic experience in the Food & Beverage outlets where innovative &
yet soul satisfying Mediterranean cuisine, seafood BBQ and Asian samplers will be served. Guests can
choose to sit inside the restaurant, with interiors recreated to the splendour of a Californian winery or dine
al fresco at the poolside or the garden facing the beach.

Casa del Mar offers one the tranquillity of a private holiday home by day and subtle gaiety by night
through entertainment and dining options. All traditional hospitality practices will be challenged such that
every aspect of the property is in harmony with the objective of creating experiences around individuals.
Please note that we specialise in couples and adults and do not offer cots or extra beds in guest rooms.


Location
Located at the legendary island of Langkawi, northwest of Peninsula Malaysia, Casa del Mar sits along
the islands Pantai Cenang beach, which is a 10-minute ride from the Langkawi airport and within close
proximity to Kuah town, the most popular entertainment area in Langkawi with a wide selection of
restaurants and bars.

La Sal Restaurant
Elegantly set beachside, you will find that this experience is all about exclusive dining in a beautiful
location. As the perfect sunset casts its warm glow across Pantai Cenang, this romantic setting is
permeated with the sounds of cool jazz or live piano and lit by tall candes and flares that cast shadows
over the sea.
Only the best ingredients are used in our cooking, either imported from overseas or locally sourced fresh
produce, so we do not compromise our quality. Our menus offer a selection of modern western meals and
authentic local dishes. The Restaurant is also home to our wine and cigar cellar and offers over 100 wines
from both the new and old worlds.
The restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, lunch from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and
dinner starts from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm.

La Luna
For a special occasion or just to celebrate being here with someone you love La Luna is elegantly
and privately set on the beach. You will find that this experience is about exclusive dining in a
beautiful location. As the sunsets casting its warm glow across Pantai Cenang, this romantic
beach setting will be permeated with the sounds of live piano and lit by one hundred candles
and flares that cast shadows over the sea. A seven course degustation menu will be served in a
tasteful manner to allow you to truly enjoy each other's company, with no interruptions or
distractions apart from the food and wine. Available with 48 hours notice, bookings are limited
to two tables per night and are subject to weather.

Castaway Picnic
A romantic dream comes true. You arrive at your beach on a remote island to a picturesque tent
with flowing nets and comfortable cushions. Right beside you is a gourmet picnic and mini bar
of your choice. Swim, sunbathe, sleep and enjoy a day together.

Guest rooms
All rooms face the sea and are cooled by air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Floor to ceiling sliding picture
windows provide unhindered vistas of Cenang Beach. All rooms feature in-room safes, mini bar, fresh
ground coffee and tea making facilities, daily changed milk, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.
Furnishings include an desk chairs, writing desk and TV Cabinet. The televisions broadcast 3 local and 5
satellite channels. The bathrooms, in generous dimensions, present a separate shower and bath. All rooms
are provided with a DVD / CD player. There is a comprehensive library of CDs and DVDs at reception
to be borrowed for no charge. Deluxe rooms are located on the ground floor whereas the suites are on the
first floor.

Deluxe Suites
70 square meters in area. Entry into the living room furnished with sofa
chairs and television. Sliding floor to ceiling picture windows open onto
a large balcony facing the sea and furnished with seating, drinks table
and a hammock. Access to the bedroom is through a door from the
living room. The bedroom has the luxury of a dressing area including
dressing table and sofa. The four poster bed at the far end of the room
faces the second balcony, overlooking the beach area. Flat screen
Televisions furnish both the bedroom and living area with the addition
on an Ipod docking station. An extravagantly large bathroom includes a
double vanity. Maximum of three adults sleeping in a king, and one fold
out double bed.


Junior Suites
Covering 60 square meters, the J unior-suite offers two sea-facing
balconies one furnished with chairs, drink table and hammock. Living
area is furnished with a rattan sofa and chaise lounge. The centre piece of
the bedroom area is a four poster canopy king bed. Televisions furnish
both the bedroom and living area. Large bathroom features a double
vanity. Maximum of Three adults sleeping in a King and a fold out bed.


Pool View & Sea View Rooms
33 sq meters in area, deluxe rooms are furnished with king, twin or
Hollywood twin bed arrangements. The sliding picture window opens
onto a private terrace furnished with two chairs and a drink table.

The Spa
The soul of the spa is inspired from the solace of the rainforest, the balance of the oceans, the energy of
the mountains and the healing effects of human touch while incorporating ancient Malaysian traditions
and rituals. The spa is a space where you can exchange stressed states for tranquillity, and embrace
treatments that renew energies and evoke delicious relaxation.

The spirit and soul of the 99 beautiful Islands has touched every element of our spa and we have
combined these traditions with western level hygiene standards. The Spa is open 7 days a week from
11am until 7pm.

Recreation
Casa del Mar offers a small recreation department with complimentary use of sea Kayaks and Mountain
Bikes. For hire is a 14 ft Hobby Cat or you can use one of our Boats for Island hoping through some of
the 99 magical Islands, Island drops Offs, fishing or our Castaway picnic.

Social Responsibility
We actively take part in reducing plastic by offering jugs of filtered water, water refill stations, have
water filters for guest rooms, and use ceramic shower amenities. Our staff actively recycles aluminium,
glass and paper. You will notice that our in room bins are plastic free and use bulk packaging where
possible. We also support the Blue Butterfly Club in Langkawi that assist underprivileged families.
