GENERAL MOTOR REQUIREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 DESCRIPTION:
This section specifies the furnishing, installation and connection of
motors.

running tor+ue.

pol5phase motors of <26 0atts or more shall meet the minimum full-load
efficiencies as indicated in the follo4ing ta3le, and as specified in
this specification. #otors of <26 0atts or more 4ith open, drip-proof
or totall5 enclosed fan-cooled enclosures shall 3e $E#A premium
efficienc5 t5pe, unless other4ise indicated. #otors pro-ided as an
integral part of motor dri-en e+uipment are e;cluded from this
re+uirement if a minimum seasonal or o-erall efficienc5 re+uirement is
indicated for that e+uipment 35 the pro-isions of another section.
